Do You Dare?

Do You Dare?
By Sean Colon

Dare thee not,
for thy life hangs in the balance.
Is it truly worth
to sacrifice such a precious thing
as life?
Is any cause or purpose worth more than a souls temporary visit to Earth?
Would thee have enough
spirit and wisdom to face
such a dreadful thing as death?
Though life is considered to many
as a continous torment
to the mind and heart
And death
an alleviation from
the suffering and anguish
they had to endure,
it should be cared for
like a mother cares for her babe.
Never to be thrown away.
Never to be taken for granted.

Dare if you wish,
the more hazardous the dare
the more invaluable your life becomes.
Actions speak louder than words.
Courage is useless unless put into use.
Life should be an adventure
not an irksome drama.
If thou seeks to dare
I wish thee luck,
for the idle man
is ignorant of his heart's
true desires.
