Gods
The ivory gods,
And the ebony gods,
And the gods of diamond and jade,
Sit silently on thier temple shelves
While the people
Are afraid.
Yet the ivory gods,
And the ebony gods,
And the gods of diamond-jade,
Are only silly puppet gods
That the people themselves
Have made.
Personal Info
Reading and poetry are two of my favorite things to do in my spare time. I frequently write poems but mostly rough drafts on napkins and the back of envelopes whenever an idea pops in my head. I mostly read fantasy and science fiction books such as The Wheel Of Time series, The Redwall series, books by Micheal Moorecock as well as David Brin, and others. I play sports such as Track, Tennis, and Cross Country. I am the kind of person who counts the days until vacation and I love spending my vacations in the Carribean. My motto has always been "Nothing is impossible".
