What they REALLY did!




Yes, I know, Bettina was surprisingly eliminated, Josh ended up on top, ect. But thats not what I'm here for! I wanna know what really happened! You know, more than just 'Shelby Marie got 3 points for jumping off a cliff in Atlanta', because she didn't really rappell down that thing, right? RIGHT?

Calm down. Deep breathes. I'm not mean enough to make people sit over a blazing bonfire. You just want to know what the contestants REALLY did. But what happened with Bettina is one question I asked. Apparently, she had some real life problems, and was as a result unable to access the internet. So unfortunately, she earned 0 points, and was eliminated. Keep this in mind throughout the tasks.

Task 1: Cliff Rappell

For this task, I simply informed the contestants that the task would be based on poll 'Who do you think will be the next eliminated'. Josh recieved 52 votes, while Shelby Marie recieved 3. Although I don't know for sure, my guess is Josh informed some of his friends about the task, and so they all voted for him! A simple task to run, but you need pretty good social skills for it, which probably gave people a hard time.

Task 2: The Petting Zoo

Now this task took some time. The contestants chose, as in the actual task, a number between 1 and 5. This, however, reflected which 'Celebrity Profile' they filled out first.

Let me explain this better.

The contestants were emailed a celebrity based on the number they chose. With this, they had to answer the following questions about the celebrity:

1. Their current age.
2. Hometwon.
3. What made them famous?
4. Are they/were they married?
5. What is the latest news on them?
However, I did not simply state the celebrity's name! I described the celeb based on what they did in Celebrity Fear Factor. An example: "The person who was forced to eat bugs in Celebrity Fear Factor 2" would have been Allison Sweeney of Days of our Lives.

Now, Shannan sent in 4, as I messed up had her skip over one celebrity. The last one she turned in late, so she didn't deal with the alligators. The beehive one, she accidently sent in the wrong celeb, so I had to count her off there. And for the lion was the one I accidently skipped over. Therefore, she earned 20 points.

Michael filled out 2 profiles correctly. However, after that, he stopped sending in profiles. Therefore, he earned 20 points, and dealt with the beehive and the lion. Josh filled out all the profiles correctly, gaining him a big 50 points!

Both Shelby Marie and Bettina I never recieved any profiles from. Therefore, neither of them participated in their stunts!

Task 3: Hanging out over the Fire!

This challenge wasn't a successful one. Contestants found it too hard, so they didn't bother with it. They were told to post on the forum between 30 and 130 times. The number their post count was had to be close to a certain number. IF they got their post count inbetween the two, the difference between the post count and the number would be subtracted from 100, and the result would be their score.

However, it is not exactly 'Easy' to post so many times, even if you have a week and a 'spam forum' set up for them! So the contestants gave up on the challenge (figuring that they could earn points from other tasks), or didn't attempt it.

Bettina's Elimination

People were surprised when she was eliminated, going from first to worst. It might be a shock to others, but it wasn't truly to me. These contestants have real lives, after all, and they need to deal with it. It may effect the outcome of the game, yes, but there isn't too much I can do, and neither theres. I have encouraged since the beginning that a person's real life SHOULD come first, and still do. I did ask Bettina what had happened, and it was real life dealings. That can happen to any contestant in the game. You never know what will happen next.
