What they REALLY did!




Yes, I know, Josh was eliminated, the contestants skydived and landed a glider, and my name is Billy Bob Joe. Thats not what I'm here for! I wanna know what really happened! You know, how you determined the results, because Michael didn't really eat deer brains, right? RIGHT? Of course not. You've just been waiting for the 'Real' episode version!

Task 1: Survivor Kayaking

For this challenge, we really DID go survivor style. I asked the players to vote each other off, in turn. They emailed me who they voted for in the first round, the second round, and the third round. This determined who got voted off when. In the end, it ended up Josh getting voted out first, Shannan second, Bettina 3rd, and Michael winning. And to answer your question, as far as I know, there was NO alliance between Michael and Bettina.

Task 2: Deer Brains

Now this task forshadowed to the contestants what the challenge was about, something I threw into the mixed up game for fun to see if they noticed!

The contestants had to convince 10 people to email me, with their name as the subject, and the text stating, "Its a bambi thing, but you gotta do it." This hinted at the idea of eating deer brains. If they did, they ate the brains. Otherwise, they didn't.

In the end, Michael was the only one to try at this task. He managed to get 5 people to email, but one with the incorrect format. Therefore, he did not earn points, but like in the fanfic, he tried.

And as far as I know, Shannan is not a vegetarian.

Task 3: Gliding and Diving

Ahh....now HERE is where I was a little evil. For this challenge, the contestants were split into pairs based on their performance in the previous episode, matching the worst with the best, and the two middles together. Therefore, Michael and Shannan and Josh and Bettina were the two teams.

Their task? It actually dealt with a fear: A fear of very very VERY annoying websites.

They had to complete various tasks on the site 'Neopets.com' which would earn them points. Here is a list:

*Having a Neopet in at least "Good" health AT THE TIME OF GRADING=20 points

*Having a shop running-10 points

*Having scored more points than the other team in the game 'Deckswabber'=30 points

*Having a fully built house with electricity, wallpaper, and some form of security=10 points

*Having 2 Neopets in at least "Good" health AT THE TIME OF GRADING=40 points(Plus the previous 20)

*Every 500 NP you have=5 points

Michael and Shannan did get a neopet, but they left it at dying for the health rate, so they didn't earn points. However, they DID have a shop, which lead them to gain 10 points. Josh and Bettina didn't do anything, and so, they earned 0 points from the task.

Final Thoughts

This challenge did create some troubles for the teams. Many of them are starting to find less time to play the game. Others have been on vacation. This did ultimately lead to Josh being eliminated. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but he wasn't participating in this past round. Still, I wish him the best of luck, and perhaps he will be chosen in the final vote on!
