What they REALLY did!




It was so long ago, but I still remember, and do have the records scattered around my desk to show exactly what did happen, and how Little A, who almost made it into the next round, failed.

Task 1-Motorboat Drag

Well, for this, the contestants had to take a quiz asking 10 questions about entertainment. Now, I added it up in a weakest link style. For example, Lets say somebody gets Questions 5 and 8 wrong. So they would get 1 point for questions 1, 2 points for question 2, and so on up to questions 5, which since they answered wrong, they got nothing for. Since they got 5 wrong, they don't get points for answering 6 right, or 8 wrong. Simply that.

S2X and Colon J were stumped on the same question: Question 5. They both got a bunch of the ones above that wrong too, so it didn't make a big difference. Since I don't have the quiz anymore, and don't remember what this question was, but it was a tricky question I put pretty high up!

Pammi really went all the way! Got up to question 9, and on question 10, a question relating to the prophecy on the show 'Alias', she got lost. Apparently she doesn't watch the show, and sent me a link to an article talking about a prophecy somewhere in the world. (I had never told them it was all related to entertainment! Evil me!) I couldn't help but laugh when I saw it. Still the later questions were hard, and since she didn't take too long to do the quiz, it shows she has a mind for entertainment! She also really is afraid of Alligators, and snakes, as you'll later see!

TC got up to question 4, and I can't blame her for getting that one wrong either. The question was 'What won at the 2000 Oscars'. The answer was Gladiator, but she replied else. I can't blame her because originally, I thought the answer was another movie, until S2X replied saying Gladiator, I then remember what had actually won! Little A did get a lot more of the higher up questions right, it was all question #3's fault. I simply asked who sings these words:

"Boy your love is all I think about"

Sadly, Kylie Minogue was a fairly new artist at the time, and Little A hadn't heard the song yet. So as a result, she earned 3 points

Task 2-Armadillo Intestines

Ah yes, the Armadillo Inestines. Really, its not a delicacy, just intestines are a body part and Armadillos are in Florida. ;)

This was the challenge where the players did something without knowing. On the quiz I sent them, there were two bonus questions that were supposedly for a tiebreaker. For each of the two the simply answered correctly, they ate an armadillo intestine.

Both S2X and Colon J were tired from taking the tough quiz I sent out, I suppose. Colon J guessed, and S2X simply said, as he did for actualy questions on the quiz, "I have no idea". Therefore, they didn't eat the intestines.

But Little A, TC, and Pammi all did, and did so correctly. Again, they weren't easy, and it paid off as they got 10 points as a result. This changed the standings a bit, as Little A and TC pulled ahead of the other two.

Task 3-Building Pole Vault

The third and final was the "luck" stunt. I played 5 games of Blackjack with myself. Then, I pulled names out of a hat to see who stood for each game. I should say I am a cautious player of Blackjack, and I only say "Hit" when I have a twelve or lower. If you had busted, that was like jumping over the building.

The first game I was careful with and got 13. Drew out of the hat: Little A

The next one went better as I got 18. Drew out of the hat: Tomcollins

The third match went way high, and I swear to god I didn't rig it, but Pammi was draw out of the hat, giving her a total of 75!!!

Colon J's name was drawn for the 16, lucky for him, as it garunteed his safety. The final game was for S2X. And much like TC's game, it ended with 18 too!!!

This sadly resulted in Little A's elimination. She had been a great player, and I was rather surprised to see her go. But then again, I can't control these things, and thats just the way it works out.

Next week, its the surprise you're waiting for! THE VOTE ON #1! And it was done differently than on Fantasy Fear Factor! But you'll just have to wait and see!
