What they REALLY did!
It was so long ago, but I still remember, and do have the records scattered around my desk to show exactly what did happen, and how Little A returned to the game, and Colon J was eliminated.
Now first, for the record, TC AND COLON J are NOT in any sort of love/hate relationship. That was a joke in the story. You may note, that that story is labeled 'FANTASY' for a reason! :D
Oh, and before you continue reading, let me just say, this was the 'Disaster' episode. Everything went wrong in some way except 1 challenge!!!
The Vote-On
You can call it a twist, but to me, that first vote on was complete kayas!!!
You see, I didn't want the contestants to know about the surprise twist of the vote one, so I posted an announcement saying I needed 3 people to take a part in the game. Since not many people knew what was going on, not many people signed up. After about a week, I got somebody. This is why with the new season, I'm going to have the contestants do the vote-ons.
THEN, Reality Net starts having MAJOR trouble logging onto TVRules.net. I don't get his vote for 3 weeks. So basically, the game was delayed for a looooong time. With a vote of 2-1, Little A came back on, and we continued with the game...and more disasters happen!
Task 1-Hanging for Life
So, for this stunt, I had the contestants simply reply to the PM I sent out. I get one person's when disaster strikes again---The TVRules site crashes for about a week.
So, the first episode ended in Late March. I get the jury votes Late April, and not until May 7th am I able to continue.
At this point, I've rethought the challenge, and decided to conduct it a different way: Have what hour (on a 12 hour basis) determine how long they last.(Ex: Somebody replies at 1:00pm, they get 1 point, somebody replies at 8:45am, they get 9 points since it rounds up.)
TC replied at 8:15 that night, so she recieved 8 points.
Pammi replied at 5 something, and I rounded it up, giving 6 points to Pammi's score.
S2X replied at 4 something, and I rounded it up, giving 5 points to S2X's score.
Now, as I said, the site had been down. People didn't rush back immediatly. Little A and Colon J both had been pretty busy too, so they didn't reply ever, and I had to give them 0 points.
Task 2-Snake Wrestling
This was the one stunt that didn't go wrong. Let me inform you first: Nobody was going to scrub off the logo too. I did that to have reason behind some people not completing it, mainly Little A.
The way it worked was I put 10 slips of paper, all numbered 1 through 5 and either having yes or no. For each person, I drew out a piece of paper. The number was the number of snakes, and the Yes/No part determined if they completed the task. After a number was drawn, the other number would be removed, so there wouldn't be 2 people wrestling the same number of snakes.
Colon J got 5 and no. Pammi got 4 and no. TC got 3 and yes, giving her 5 points. S2X got 2 and yes, giving him 5 points. And Little A got 1 and no, giving her no points, and keeping her tied with Colon J.
Task 3-Bucking Broncos
For this task, I looked at how many times they posted in a 12 hour period to determine the number of flats they got. Like I said earlier, there hadn't had too much activity on the boards because of its sudden crash. As a result, TC and S2X were the only who posted, each once. This caused a tie for Little A and Colon J.
Tie Breaker-Combination
Now as you probably realized, both Colon J and Little A hadn't really participated in this round. I think Little A might have not realized somehow she was back in the game, and Colon J was busy writing for his website. So I took a look at when had been the last time each had posted. Whoever had posted the most recently won the relay in the fantasy story. That was Little A, as Colon J had been out for a little while.
Because of this, Colon J lost to Little A, and therefore, he was eliminated. It was too bad to see him go. Even though he was busy, he had a great sense of humor which came well with the game, and all of the contestants did feel bad to see him go.
And that was the end of the disasters! You do not know how relieved I was when that 2 month long episode was OVER! *Phew*! A combination of people seemingly vanishing from the game, the vote-on, and the site crashing, did put a lot of stress on me. But everything worked out in the end, and it became a favorite episode of TomCollins(I think because she got the highest score and the Colon J thing).
