THE FANTASY FEAR FACTOR FAQ

The Answers to 10(or 11, no 12) Questions Commonly Asked

1. What is Fantasy Fear Factor?--Fantasy Fear Factor is an online reality game. There are many of them out there. You know, like 'Survivor 6: Egypt' or 'The Mole 3: The Return of the Mole'. So I decided to start running a Fantasy Fear Factor game. In it, 6 contestants (3 men and 3 women) travel across the country, stopping at 6 different cities. In each city, they complete 3 tasks, just like on Fear Factor. From these tasks, they earn points. At the end of the three tasks in the city, we add up their points, and whoever has the least is out of the game. Then we clear the points board, giving a fresh start in a new city, with 3 new tasks. Eventually, it will come down to 2 people, who will compete in the 18th and final task. Who ever does this the best wins!

2. Who is Cat Spasms?--Cat Spasms is a random browser who floats around the internet, JUST LIKE YOU!!! However, we pulled him over one day, pointed a gun at his neck, and forced him to be the host of our show. Obviously, he agreed. Now the contestants get to yell at HIM, rather than us. You will see him in the episodes, while we lurk in the background.

3. Do the contestants really participate? Or are they all just made up people?--The Contestants are REAL people, so don't make fun of them and stuff, I'm sure they'd get annoyed. However, they aren't actually bungee jumping off buildings or lying in a tank full of sharks. We come up with challenges for them to complete, and based on how they do in their challenges, we determine how they do on their stunts. For example, we may say, "Solve these riddles." The number of riddles they solve correctly would determine, say, how many flags they collect while swimming in a shark tank. That is why we have TWO summaries for each episode: One says the made up stuff they supposedly did, while the other is what they actually did, said about the stunt, ect.

4. How do I become a part of Fantasy Fear Factor?--You will have to send in an application answering questions about yourself to us at fearfactur@yahoo.com. You can find the questions you need to answer under the 'Applications' section of our website for the game.

5. By Applying for the show, will I get picked? What are my chances of getting picked?--Your chances we don't know, but it won't be too high. Probably 3:2 or something like that. But you won't be garunteed as a pick. But hey! Whats the harm in trying? You never know if we'll accept you.

6. Do you have experience in running these games?--Yes, as a matter of fact, we do. I, personally, participated in some, and know what its like for a contestant, but in addition, we have run a Survivor show, and once before a Fantasy Fear Factor, accept they were both done on forum boards, and niether had a website, its own forum, or even a logo.
In addition to those mentioned above, we all, personally, have written fantasy(As in entirely made up) stories for TV shows, books, and much more.

7. What is all this 'Fantasy Fear Factor' trash? I'm looking for the Fear Factor Freaks Page!!!--If you came here looking for the Fear Factor Freaks Page, I am sorry to say that it has been taken down temporarily for this game. I was having trouble managing it anyways. In fact, I'm not clear on whether it will be coming up again. However, there are many good locations for Fear Factor summaries, news, and more, so I'm sure there wasn't anything of extreme value in the site. We do have the remains of the site up, at http://www.oocities.org/fearfactur/oldsite/ so you can take a peek around there!

8. What benefits do I get out of winning?--Absolutely nothing money wise, but you WILL have had a fun experience and the title of "The Winner of Fantasy Fear Factor", which I'm sure is good enough for you!

9. What benefits will I get out of being a contestant?--You do become a moderator on the Fantasy Fear Factor boards by becoming a contestant, and you get to have a fun time, that is until you are eliminated. If you win, congrats to you!!!

10. My question hasn't been answered so far, and its REALLY important. What should I do?--You can contact us (We don't bite!) and ask your question directly, by sending an email to fearfactur@yahoo.com. We will try to answer it ASAP, especially if it concerns your application. And if we aren't able to answer your question then, we will say we're sorry! [If that makes you feel any better...]. But I feel confident that we should be able to answer any question about the game.

11. So, is that it for the FAQ?--Yes. It was great seeing you! Thanks for stopping by!

12. NO!!! One last question!!! Is there really more than one of you?--Of course not. Its just Cat_Spasms. The whole 'We' thing makes the game sound like its run by a big company or something. But actually, nope! Just me:)! So, enjoy the game!
