James Richard Wirtz Born 4/29/98.

James was born at Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing Michigan. 2 days after he was born instead of going home the doctors found out he had CHD.. With DiGeorge Syndrome. He was then transferred to Sparrow Hospital and immediately taken to University of Michigan where he stayed as an infant for 30 days... He had his first open heart surgery, and was hospitalized for the month afterwords. He went through a lot of trouble for recovery, but he made it.

In a short year after he was ready for another open heart surgery sooner than expected.. He also had a Heart Cath.. James was only in the hospital this time for 7 days. He recovered quickly and went home. He has had many troubles with his ear's, with ear tubes placed. He can't talk like a three year old should, but he sure does love sports... He's limited he can't play football, any hard contact sports,etc... He's our special little guy. Who will need at least one more open heart surgery.

He's started school. He is in PPI, and he loved it. Now he's on summer break.

James was born with a VSD, ASD, interrupted aortic arch, and subaortic stenosis....
