Lisa, 36, lives in Buffalo, New York, with Dasher the dalmation and Buck the chocolate lab, who were adopted together and are now 8 years old. I am a trial lawyer who for many years has been pretty career-focused. I've built a successful practice representing parties in civil disputes. Although I'm proud of my career, I've realized something really is missing. It is now time for me to build a family. I look forward to seeing my daughter toddle through the gardens in my backyard and play with the dogs. I'm trying to learn about China and her culture and enjoying the challenge! my adoption plans ...
I started the paperchase on September 16, 1999, with New Life Adoption Agency of Syracuse, New York. I have requested a baby girl up to 6 months and as young as possible. I actually enjoyed the paperchase and was thrilled to see my dossier logged in on Valentine's Day! Although I always expected to be married with a house in the suburbs when I brought a baby home, fate has other plans for me. I have a great support system, and my family and friends are excitedly awaiting this baby's arrival. My sister and brother-in-law who live in town will play a large role in her life. My other sister, who lives in San Francisco, has volunteered to travel to China with me. I am planning her nursery and making list after list of things to do, things to pack, things to learn and possible baby names.
