live in Silver Spring, MD. Their family includes:
Steven, 15, Sara, 12, Scott, 8, and Sharon Yunlei, 2 yrs 8 mos, adopted from China 11/98.
We are both born again Christians for about 10 years now, and
the Lord has blessed us abundantly. I (Tim) am a Critical Care
Physician and Geri is an RN although she has not worked as a nurse for 13 years.
She has the toughest job caring for the children including home-schooling Scott.

Our agency is ACAA. We began the paperchase in October of 1999 and our dossier was logged in
on February 1, 2000.
After having 3 children, we decided that was enough,
but God had other ideas. When I (Tim) heard of so many girls being
abandoned in China, I went to a seminar sponsered by ACAA in the Fall of 96.
Adopting Sharon has been fantastic and she has brought so much joy to our
family. At 8 months, she wasn't able to roll over, but now she is running with
the other kids. Also, we had her tested by the county and she is
progressing on schedule for a normal American child. In addition, Sharon's adoption
gives us many opportunities to share our faith with others. Since we are
Chinese-American, you can't tell from observation that Sharon is
adopted. Unfortunately since we are 3rd generation (grandparents came from
China), our knowledge of Mandarin is minimal.
