Jim, 51, and Connie, 43, live in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, with our daughter Tracie Lin. Connie and I (Jim) have been together for six years and will be married five years in November (first marriage for both). I teach math at the high school level, and Connie is an administrative secretary at our local hospital.

We began the paperchase for our first daughter in June of 1997 and traveled to China to pick up Tracie in September of 1998. Tracie was 13 months old when we picked her up, and she has truly been a blessing to us. We decided to expand our family and started the paperchase for our second daughter in August of 1999. Our dossier went to China on February 11, 2000. Our agency is Holt, and we have requested a child under 12 months. We are anxiously awaiting our referral.
