Donna and Nick, both 34, live in Maple, Ontario, Canada. Nick and I have a 1-year-old bichon frise named Rocky who is the light of our lives! I'm sure having a little one around will be a HUGE adjustment for him, seeing as he gets all the attention right now. I am an administrative assistant, employed by Gillette Canada. My background is in early childhood Eeducation, but about 6 years ago, I decided for a few reasons that I needed a change. ... Now I'm missing the little ones, but I am glad that I made that change. I don't think I could've handled working with children all day long while riding the infertility roller coaster. I'm hoping to be able to stay home with our little girl! Nick is self-employed. He owns a company called Superior Computer Services He designs Web sites, does Internet marketing, writes databases, etc. He's already planning the system he's going to set up for our daughter!

Our agency is Children's Bridge. We have requested a child 9 months or under. We started paperchasing in October 1999, and our dossier was logged in on February 14, 2000. Nick designed our group's Web site. We've been wanting a child in our lives for about 4 years now, and after riding on the infertility rollercoaster, we are VERY excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
