Vicki, 35, and Ben, also 35, live in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with their two cats — Norway and Oslo. While waiting for Claire, aka Daisy, Ben works in human resources for Norfolk Southern Railroad, and Vicki designs kitchens for Lowe's. Currently, we are working like mad to save as much money possible, so Vicki can change jobs to full-time mom when we get Claire.

Our agency is ACAA. We began our paperchase in July 1999, and our dossier went to China on February 14, 2000. We never realized how long a wait could be until now. Ben thought the paperchase was relatively painless. Vicki describes it as awful and terrible. The best thing that can be said for it is that it is over. Our determination and focus on the goal, getting Daisy, helped us to accomplish it all. Now, just like everyone else on this page, we
