Louise, 37, and Will, 55, live in Gig Harbor, Washington, with our bio son Haydon, who will turn 3 in June. Will also has two daughters, Heather, 22, and Megan, 20. Louise is a major gift director for Pacific Lutheran University and does accounting and litigation support work on the side to raise money for the adoption. Will is the telemarketing manager for Bratrud Middleton Insurance. We live on a large, forested parcel of land and have extensive Victorian gardens, which are Will's delight. We love playing with our son and can't wait to have a bigger family.

Our agency is Faith International Adoptions. We have requested a child age 0-12 months. We started the process in April 1999 — slow! — and our dossier was logged in on February 16, 2000. The decision to adopt was easy for us. Will was adopted and had no reservations about providing a home to a child (or two or three) who needs one. Louise is very attached to China. We can't wait to go get "Baby Ellie" and will share with all our children the wonderful, confusing, and compelling culture of China.
