Marni, 31, and Kenneth, 32, live in Port Washington, New York. We have one dog, Junior, who was adopted from the ASPCA at 3 years old and is now 9. Kenny and I met in college 11 years ago. We will be married for 5 years in April. Two years ago, we began researching adoption and found our way to China. Kenny is an attorney, and I am a school social worker.

Our agency is Children's Hope International. We have requested a child age 6-12 months. We started the paperchase in August 1999, and our DTC date is February (we hope). The paperwork was fairly painless except for the waiting for some of the documents. This waiting period seems to be much harder.
