Rhonda, 32, and Dennis, 39, and our children, Justin Benjamin, 9, and Daniel Bryce, 3 (almost 4, live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, with our springer spaniel Roxie and our shih-tzu Pali. (Our hamster died recently.) Dennis and I have been married for almost 11 years. Our anniversary is June 17. We have two very beautiful boys who are as different as night and day but look almost identical, or so people say. Dennis has worked at Lockheed Martin for 20 years now and is currently working on the Mars Lander 2001. Yes, he also worked on the one that is lost (wasn't his fault :-)). I have worked for my father for the last 10 years in an electrical contracting business; prior to that, I worked with Dennis at Martin. We enjoy skiing, volleyball, waterskiing, working with our church's youth group — just about anything. Our boys are very excited about getting a baby sister; Justin has been praying for one for 8 years now. We are still undecided about names but have a small list going. We love to travel and are looking forward to going to China.

Our agency is CCAI, and we have requested a child age 0-8 months. We started looking into adopting last April when we saw our friend's referral picture. We have experienced a great deal of infertility over the last 8 years with one very positive result, Daniel Bryce. Because of the difficulties in getting pregnant and the complications of the last pregnancy, we have made the decision to adopt and couldn't be happier. My parents have 1 grandaughter (16) and 9 grandsons (14 and under), so, needless to say, we need a girl. We turned in our application on Friday the 13th of August, and that was a very good day. We are very fortunate to live 10 minutes away from CCAI and have enjoyed getting to know them personally. Our dossier was logged in on February 1, 2000.
