Cynthia, 50, and McKinley, 47, live in Gillette, Wyoming, with springer spaniels Tootsie and Sister, cats Spook and Possum, and horse Stoney. We have been married eight-and-a-half years and have no children. McKinley, a native of Wyoming, is a mechanical engineer for a heating and air-conditioning company. He is also a private pilot and is active with the Civil Air Patrol, currently serving as chaplain for the Wyoming Wing. Cynthia, a native of Georgia, relocated to Wyoming eight-and-a-half years ago. She was a banker for 17 years, then spent 6 years as the office manager for a law firm, and is now a full-time homemaker looking forward to her dream job of "mommy"!

We did the infertility thing for a year and attempted 7-8 private adoptions, none successful, before we were referred to CCAI in early 1999. We started paperchasing in August 1999, and our DTC date is February 14, 2000. We have requested a healthy child, girl or boy, under 24 months old and as young as possible, and twins or siblings if available (though the odds for two are remote). Because we are "older" parents, we expect to receive a toddler, but we're prepared for whatever blessing China offers!
