A Mechwarrior 3rd Edition PBEM


SPECIAL NOTE 1: The Dark Knight Play-By-E-Mail game has officially ended. This site will stay up as an archive and will be completed with a complete history and run of events that occured over the last year of play. While the group of us had been talking and prepairing since early December 1999, the game officially started on February 4th, 2000. It ended on March 16th, 2001. In over a year of gameplay with both the snags and adventures, I think all of us had a wonderful time and agree that it worked out better than we could have hoped. Thanks to all of you, especially Bane for heading this whole thing up. I had a great time and am looking forward to doing it again some time. I consider you all friends.
That said, another game is being started. It is not directly related to the Dark Knights, however some of the characters might carry over. While the Knights focused on a character and 'Mech-combat driven design, this new game will focus on out-of-vehicle combat and problem solving. Smart characters and small-arms are a must. Also, warriors are NOT a must...you can be anything from a reporter to a doctor to a bum to a mechwarrior. Whatever you'd like. If you are interested, contact me with the button below that says "Contact the Dark Knights" under the counter. I'm hoping this game will be just as much fun as the Dark Knight game. Bane led the way and set the format so we wouldn't have to (and did a great job). If you are interested, contact me and I'll explain the setting.

SPECIAL NOTE 2: A new PBEM has been fired up by two of the players from the Dark Knights extravaganza. Medron and Orion are conducting an escape from the planet Hsien in the Chaos March. It includes a knew story spawned from the final days of the Dark Knights as well as some surviving members who are still in the game. The website isn't complete as the game is still young, but all the information you need to learn of the setting and knew players/characters is here. We have enough players for the time being, but it never hurts to ask us to remember you when we decide more are needed. There are two groups, Orion handles one and Medron guides the other. Their time lines and situations are identical but their stories are not and they will eventually be joined or pitted against each other, depending on how they play. Follow the adventures!

Welcome to the home of Henderson's Dark Knights, a fresh new merc unit to hit the Inner Sphere. Please make yourselves comfortable and take your time in making your selection. Whether your needs are a simple training cadre or a tactical strike before an all out planetary assault, the Dark Knights have what you need.

The Dark Knights are not your regular thrown together merc unit composed of green troops. All of our men and women are experienced veterans, ranging from Clan battles to House wars to Pirate deflections. Your C-bills will be well spent when the Dark Knights are on your payroll.

The Dark Knights specialize in fast strikes against, and/or defense of targets held by, or targeted by the Capellan Confederation, the Lyran Alliance, the Word of Blake radical splinter group, Pirates, and the Clans. Objectives within the Chaos March are especially smiled upon. The Dark Knights hold no allegiance with, but have ties to the Federated Commonwealth, Draconis Combine, Free Worlds League and Comstar. None of these ties, however, are cast in ferro-crete.
