Uniform:

Standard duty Uniform:


The standard Duty Uniform or the Female Duty Uniform is the same as ever other department. A two piece suite, consisting of a black pair of trousers, and a black long sleeved top, with colour specific cuffs and neck . In the case of the Engineers this is Yellow. This uniform should be worn during on duty times, and requires the individual to wear all parts.

Standard Dress Uniform:

The standard dress uniform consists of a small Jacket (similar to Department Head Jacket) that is worn directly over the dress uniform shirt (designed to be worn open, so the Dress Shirt is still clearly visible). Dress Shirt consists of an all black design with colored collar. The Jacket Trim and Shirt Collar Color denote department.

Department Head Uniform:


The department head jacket is
a small jacket which is worn directly over the standard duty uniform (designed to be worn open, so the Duty Uniform is still clearly visible). The Jacket Color denotes department and is slightly darker than the standard uniform color so the jacket is distinguishable from the duty uniform.

Department Head Dress Uniform:

The department head dress uniform is a small Jacket (similar to Department Head Jacket) that is worn directly over the dress uniform shirt (designed to be worn open, so the Dress Shirt is still clearly visible). Dress Shirt consists of an all black design with colored collar. The Jacket Trim, Shoulder, and Shirt Collar Color denote department.

Admiral Duty Uniform:

The Admirals Duty Uniform Consists of a Long Jacket worn over the Standard Duty Uniform (visible near the neckline), the Jacket is worn closed, and a belt worn around the waist. Department Colors are denoted on a wrist band, shoulder area, and around the neckline (where the standard duty uniform is visible).

Admiral Dress Uniform:

The Admiral Dress Uniform consists of a Long Jacket worn over the Dress Uniform Shirt (visible near the neckline), the Jacket is worn closed, and a belt worn around the waist. Department Colors are denoted on a wrist band and shoulder area. Dress Variation of Standard Admiral's Uniform consists of a White Jacket worn over a White Shirt (w/Black Collar).

Correct Address of Marine Officers and NCOs:

Admirals (Rear Admiral - Admiral):
Admirals, regardless of their rank are address as "Admiral", and not "Rear Admiral", "Vice Admiral " etc.

Senior Officer's (Lieutenant Commander - Commodore):
Officer's ranking Commodore should be addressed as "Commodore". Officer's ranking Captain should be addressed as "Captain". Full Commanders and Lieutenant Commanders is addressed as "Commander".

Junior Officer's (Midshipman - Lieutenant):
A Lieutenant and Lieutenant Junior Grade should be addressed as "Lieutenant". Ensign should be addressed as "Ensign ". Midshipmans should be addressed as "Midshipman".

Chief Petty Officers (Chief Petty Officer - Command Chief Petty Officer):
All are addressed to as "Chief Petty Officer" or "Chief".

Senior Ratings (Petty Officer 3rd Class - Petty Officer 1st Class):
All are addressed to as "Petty Officer".

Junior Ratings (Recruit - Crewman):
Engineers rating Crewman Recruit, Crewman Apprentice and Crewman Recruit are addressed as "Crewman". Engineers rating Recruit are to be addressed as "Recruit"
