The Logo is stylised sketches of St Johns Huntley and All Saints Longhope with All Saints May Hill in the centre.
Our Trinity Festival the weekend of June 13 to 15, with Longhope and Huntley, was held when two of our native flowers, this time orchids, were in full bloom in the May Hill church yard. Last month the forest was carpeted with blue bells.

Photographed Friday 13 June, the first day of our Trinity Festival weekend.
To quote Rev Martin Thompson's comments, 'The festival of Trinity is unique to Christianity - no other faith believes in one God who is Creator, redeemer Son and guiding Spirit. So we celebrate the breath of God's love for His people, proclaiming the glory of creation in flowers and the creative displays they inspire'.
The churchyard at May Hill has its orchids in full flower, adding challenge to the extra flowers brought in for this celebration,

The Sanctuary has two spectacular arrangements in the corners, linked by a horizontal display across the communion table, celebrating our heritage of bread and wine symbolising Our Lord's gift.

Consider the lilies of the field, clothed in splendour.

The blue orchid is a feature of this church yard but this green orchid is difficult to spot in the grass, beside the red clover. Click on each flower image to get a wider view.
