One of the most common falacies to science is the error of Ad Hoc. An Ad Hoc error occurs when researchers take evidence and then propose a theory with this evidence and leave no room for questioning because of the way the theory is set up.
Such an instance occured when trying to figure out what the heridary elements were. Darwin took his observed evidence and preposed a theory of gemmules that supplimented all answers, and yet, we know today to be wrong.
In essense, an ad hoc argument is one that is so formulated that it coulod explain anything, and hence can not be tested.
Evolution, in principle could be such a theory. One that you really can't test because of definition and so in essense unprovable. And logicall fallicious at that.
