Seems to me after reading through a few of the posts on atheism that the stances that most of them hold are out of retaliation to the "religiously oppression Christians." Personally, I find that a very weak stance on your side to believe in something out of only retaliation to the opposite belief than out of sincerity of belief in the fact that there is no God. What I find even more amazing is how little you know about the Christian God that you are so adamantly opposed to. Here's my suggestion, worry not about the little Christians who are trying to convert you. Since you are all here I do believe you have a sincere desire to know more about what you believe. Find out what it is about this God of the Christians, or the Jews, or the Muslims or whomever that you are so adamantly opposed to. Find out not what think they know about this God, but this God actually is. Then, when you have known what it truly is that you are against can you say that your atheism is real. To put this into an analogy. Light and dark. If we have never known darkness, how do we truly know what light is? I propose that in order understand what light is you must go where there is the absence of light, thus darkness. In other words, to know more fully what you believe and why, find out the truth about what you don't believe.
