The UnSeen One on Truth

Then the student asked the Unformed One:

"What is truth?"

The Unnamed One sighed and shook his head.

"The truth is difficult for you to understand because you are so young of a student."

The student continued to ask:

"What is truth?"

"Truth," the Unwritten One said, "consists of two parts. Every man knows the first part. This is the truth of perception. This is the truth we see with our eyes, hear with our ears, and feel with our hands. This is the truth that people can not help but know because it is relative to every individual.

The second part of truth is much greater than this. This truth is beyond human understanding. This truth can not be said, heard, or felt. This truth is not self-evident. Man is clouded by his own perception to see this truth. This truth transcends the mortal ego of a man. To express this truth in any written words by one who is not enlightened is to make this truth a lie, for is passes over a tainted mouth that is connected to a worldly ego."

The student asked the Unnatural One, "How does one attain this truth?"

The Unwanted One answered, "The gain of this truth is a lifelong journey. It begins with only a first step. Since one cannot feel, see or hear this truth through the human body, the ego of the man must be released in order to find this truth. Once truth is sought we begin to lose our shrouds. The truth is freedom from yourself and the pathway to sagacity. Many men will not find this truth because they believe that the only truth in the world is reality. These men will tell you that truth does not exist. Do not listen to them, and do not listen to me. This truth you can only find on your own. Seek out this truth and it will find you when you are ready."
