I think I came to the conclusion that everything is determined, but within the confines of a certain level of chaoticness. Thus, everything has supported events in the past to explain it's occurrence. The randomness arises when a situation occurs in which all conditions are equally supported in the past, the result of the equally conditioned history results in a random action that still is supported with past events.
Example. If one were to roll a dice there is a 1 in 6 chance of getting a 4. The probability of getting a single number is the same for all the other numbers, BUT the conditions must exist in the past that cause (A) the dice to have numbers (B) the dice to be picked up (C) the dice to be tossed. Now, it is possible from there to be circumstances in which one possibility is favored over another. Say that the dice is weighted on the 6 dotted side so that it favors landing on the 1. Now, deterministicly, the 1 has the greatest chance of being rolled correct? But that doesn't mean that the other events cannot occur. The past history of the other numbers being on the dice still exist, and the dice is still thrown, it's just less likely for the dice to land on the 4 or the 5.
