THE LAND TELLS A STORY

Most felines know the story of the hostile goddess Pangea. Furious at the cats of this land, she sent upon them disasters beyond words, wiping out the entire population that once roamed this land freely. Out of the devastation spirits began to emerge, and slowly the world began to reform. Felines returned to the place, but were not free from the fury of Pangea.

However, for whatever reason, the goddess's legacy was once again forgotten; and rather than destroy them as she had done to the previous generation, Pangea instead began to forget herself. Something strange happened then: Without their goddess to guide them and give them life, the felines slowly began to wander off to new lands, or die in this one. And so, she faded, bringing with her the generation she had formed to worship her.

The spirits were distraught over this. The land was barren; nothing, no trees, plants or flowers, grew. Night took over and the sun ceased to rise. No living creature walked the ground. And then, things changed. Combining their power, the spirits made a temporary alliance to save the land they once ruled over. Foliage sprung up among them; the sun continued its regular patterns; the same felines who once lived there were now returning. This world had become paradise.
