Here are several pieces of my work done in Adobe Photoshop Elements, and Adobe Photoshop 6.0. Please click on the thumbnails to view the original images.

Liquified Pictures of Myself

Done using Adobe Photoshop Elements

Explanation of Techniques

For the liquified pictures, I did this in Adobe Photoshop Elements.

I began by opening a photo of myself, taken with a digital camera, in Photoshop Elements  by selecting "Open" from the file menu and finding the folder where it is located.

After the file is opened, I selected "Liquify" under the images menu. This will open up in a new window. Then you can "liquify" your images by clicking on the tools located on the left side and dragging it on the image. These tools include Warp, Twirl Clockwise and Counter Clockwise, Pucker, Bulge, Shift Pixels, Reflection, Reconstruct, Freeze and Thaw.

The one I liked the most is the third one. There are many things I liked in that picture. The first being the proportion. As you can see, the proportion between the head and the torso has many discrepancies. The head is extremely slim while the torso is much wider. The second is the face. I find it very funny that the eyes are cross-eyed, and the nose and lips are very skinny and small. Last but not least, I just simply liked how odd it looked after I finished liquifying it.
