Intro to the Big Bangalow

The Big Bangalow is an exciting vacation spot located in the center of the Universe. The Farscape characters frequent this location to relax and get away from the daily trials and tribulations of the Uncharted Territories. Things you can find at the Big Bangalow: a color-shifting sandy beach, a green shimmering ocean as far as the eye can see, three blazing suns, the clearest evening skies, orange-tinted palm-like trees, and the Big Bangalow Bar.

The Big Bangalow originated in the summer of 2001, when the FNS needed a break from the characters and vice versa. The first edition for the Big Bangalow to debut in was Edition 3.0: The Big Bangalow. Virtually every character has appeared there, once or twice. Activities like drinking, UT volleyball, sun tanning, fireworks, sand sculpture contests, and Leviathan tag have been held here. The Big Bangalow is now a permanent secondary location for editions of FNS.

And for those of you who are still lost in the dark, here’s a simple way of saying it. I wanted the relaxing place to be somewhere very unique and commonly known. Hence, the center of the universe, or where scientists think the Big Bang originated. And then I needed to have a bar at this location, naturally to quench one’s thirst…hey, there are three suns there after all. Thus, creating a bungalow, aka a hut. I combined both words and BOOM…the Big Bangalow was created. Yep, that’s how everything started…the entire universe. ;)
