THE FELLIP NECTAR STAND Valentine’s Day Edition

Chiana: [Shouting.] “John and Aeryn Love Sprinkles! Get ‘em while they’re fresh!” [Giggles as several shippers rush up with currency in hand to the counter near the entrance of the stand. Jothee hands the bottles of sprinkles to eager buyers while Rygel gleefully counts the money as it pours in.]

Rygel: [Under breath.] “Foolish shippers! Ha! Who knew asteroid dust could be so profitable!” [Laughs and orders a passing waitress to bring them beverages.]

Jothee: [Smiling at the line of shippers forming before them.] “Chiana, you never cease to amaze me!” [Turns to her and kisses her on the cheek. Chiana blushes and turns back to the shippers.]

Chiana: [Eyeing Jothee flirtatiously.] “Buy your John and Aeryn Love Sprinkles here and experience the eternal love that spans the universe!”

[At bar, Zhaan and Stark are discovering the sensuous Uniflask of Tyla. A lovers flask filled with a very intoxicating beverage.]

Stark: [Glances around stand.] “This place never ceases to amaze me. Such a chaotic environment.”

Zhaan: [Smiles lovingly at Stark.] “Yes. Strange that the theme of LOVE has taken over each and every soul here today. One should always try to please the soul.” [Both take drink from the flask, laugh, and kiss.]

[D’Argo’s booming voice can be heard from above most aliens at the bar.]

D’Argo: [To merchant beside him.] “I want those Nebara!!”

Merchant: “Two cyclonites! I won’t say it again.” [Veers away in fright.]

[D’Argo growls and merchant can stand it no longer. He shoves the Nebara clusters over to D’Argo and runs out of the stand. D’Argo smiles with satisfaction and observes the clusters of pinkish glowing fuzzy tulip-shaped flora in his arms. D’Argo sneezes loudly and his eyes begin to tear. He then glances over to Chiana and heads towards her.]

Rygel: [Spots 3 Hynerian females drinking near the central viewing screen and immediately heads towards them with a stash of money in hand.] “Hmmm. Business ‘and’ pleasure!”

[Large view screen currently plays an old recording by a DRD via Pilot and Moya. The recording is of exactly one cycle ago. John and Aeryn are slow dancing or at least John is trying to teach a bewildered Aeryn. He is trying to hum a little romantic tune from Earth but can’t help but laugh at Aeryn instead.]

Aeryn: [Frustrated.] “What is the purpose of this? Have you gone fahrbot? There are duties and maintenance to be performed.”

John: [Shifts Aeryn around in a dance move.] “Just relax, will you? Valentine’s Day celebrates…well, at this time friendship…” [Tilts head as he reads Aeryn’s eyes.] “…And more. But…well…”

Aeryn: [Shakes head.] “You are strange but your holidays are even stranger.”

John: [Laughs.] “Centuries of celebrating love on that special day every guy seems to forget does seem to sound crazy after awhile. You should see all the hoopla surrounding Valentine’s Day. Flowers, balloons, ‘proposals’…oh but Aeryn…the chocolates! You’d love the chocolates!”

Aeryn: [Leans in on John’s chest and smiles.] “If you’re proposing that you and I become…lovers…” [Rubs John’s cheek with her hand and smiles even more.] “I should shoot you right now!” [Turns in disgust and exits room.]

John: [Smiling.] “Man! She is so in love with me!” [Exits off view screen.]

[Viewing screen flickers and entire scene replays itself. Rygel is romancing his three new Hynerian ladies with his stories of “heroic” travel aboard Moya. D’Argo is sneezing and speaking with Chiana while Jothee slyly watches and handles sales of the sprinkles.]

D’Argo: “AAAAACCHHOOO!!” [Chiana jumps slightly and curls lips in disgust. D’Argo wipes nose and smiles at Chiana.] “I’d like you to have these, Chiana.” [Springs out the cluster of Nebara from behind his back.]

Chiana: [Inhales scent of flowers deeply and hugs D’Argo with a kiss on the cheek. D’Argo sniffles and smiles.] “You’re so sweet D’Argo. Thank you!”

D’Argo: “I know.” [Giggles.]

Chiana: [Looks from D’Argo to Jothee and realizes the obvious. Speaks under breath.] “I think I’m gonna have fun with this.” [Links arms with sniffling D’Argo and walks off to bar with him. Glances back at Jothee to see he is smiling and nodding his head.]

Jothee: [Under breath.] “We’ll see who’s the better Luxan!”

[Shippers are madly buying up the stock of John and Aeryn Love Sprinkles, keeping Jothee occupied for the rest of the time being. View screen flickers once more but this time, a passionate kiss between John and Aeryn appears. Bar grows slightly hushed at the new scene. D’Argo takes this opportune time to sneeze incredibly loud.]

D’Argo: [In small hushed voice.] “Sorry.”

Zhaan: “Pilot and Aeryn’s Soul must have found a memory in John’s Mind and are displaying it.”

Bartender: [As Zhaan’s speaking.] “Oh dren! Not again!” [Just as he finished his words, a huge bottle of John and Aeryn’s Love Sprinkles is thrown into the air from the arms of a falling shipper. The bottle twirls and swirls into the barrel of Fellip Nectar at the end of the bar. The Bartender reaches to save the barrel but is too late. The sprinkles have intermixed and all in the bar are suddenly ordering more of the Fellip Nectar.]

D’Argo: “Another Fellip Nectar please!” [Bartender hands a flask to D’Argo. D’Argo chugs flask, looks at view screen, and then throws Chiana back in a long passionate kiss. Others watching immediately order more Fellip Nectar and kissing commences throughout the stand.]

Chiana: [Stands and recovers, watching all in the stand.] “Guess that dren really works. Bartender! More Fellip Nectar!” [Tap on shoulder causes Chiana to turn and face Jothee. He immediately kisses her. Chiana is caught up in kiss when D’Argo taps her shoulder. She turns and is kissed by him. Another tap on her shoulder and she finds both Luxans competing for her.]

Chiana: “A girl could get used to this sort of thing!” [Laughs and hugs both Luxans.]

[View screen flickers again and John and Aeryn are seen resting comfortably in each other’s arms in happiness. They turn to each other, slowly leaning in, their lips drawing closer, their eyes locked, and their lips connect in a long, powerful kiss.]
