DRINKING WATER ON WESTSIDE UNDRINKABLE

What I have noticed

• Clothes affected
  My clothes,especially cotton jeans and towels have been fading for quite some time here after each wash...with no chlorine present in the washing powder or added to the load...
• Plants affected
  When i water the plants outside i notice a definite yellowing of leaves and stunting effect on their growth.The smell of chlorine that hits my nose as i water with my hose end sprayer is nauseating at times.
• Animals/insects will not drink the water from the hose
  The water i put out for animals and bees is untouched for quite a while even on hot days,apparently the animals and insects feel its bad to drink
• The water kills fish
  I have lost many fish due to the unstable water system here,after water changes,even with water treatment chemicals added.
• Skin burns when i take a shower
  When i shower i feel my skin burning on my face and body often.My skin dries out and i feel bad after a shower.I recently had the water heater changed and it was full of rust...solid.
• Drinking the water reminds me of alka seltzer cocktail
  The few times I have attempted to drink the water from the tap i felt like i was drinking seltzer water and didnt feel at all good after drinking it.
• Unfair burden on citizens
  I have to pay double and more on water/sewer bills here and have to go buy water to drink in addition to paying the water bill.My west fort worth neighbors water bills run below 50 dollars with lots of usage while the bill here is easily 60-100 dollars and i conserve water as much as possible!
• The water here is basically unfit for human consumption for bathing or anything else.
• The city uses the water bill to fund their WATER PARK AND OTHER CITY PROJECT FIASCOS THAT ARE WAY OVER BUDGET FOR THIS SMALL TOWN AND THAT FEW WILL USE IN PROPORTION TO THE BURDEN IT PUTS ON US ALL.The water pipes are so old and rusty that our water heaters fill with rust.Apparently its more important to build "fantasy projects" than to take care of the residents here and their basic needs for low water rates and DRINKABLE WATER.
• The city council has squandered past revenues instead of keeping the system that we all depend on up to date,and solvent.The city has been admonished in editorials for not keeping the water lines drained on the end of the line as well as for the poor quality of water we all have to endure
  We are all expected to foot the costs for their foolish over-budget spending with our 200 dollar water bills that just ruin our clothes and our yards.Its time for some changes.
