             3x-2y=12
                    3x-2(5-4x)=12 
             3x-10+8x=12
             11x-10=12
                 +10 +10
        11x=22
                  11  11
                     x=2
             y=5-4(2)
             y=5-8

1. The y is ready to be plugged in
     3x-2(5-4x)=12

2. Distributive Property
     3x-10+8x=12

3. Combine like terms
      11x-10=12

4. Solve
       11x-10=12
           +10 +10
     11x=22
        11   11
          x=2

5. Now plug "x" in 
        y=5-4(2)
        y=5-8
        y=-3

6. the answer is (2,-3)
