Word Problem

Q: Lately you have been having some trouble with your 1966 Mustang. You are planning on taking ot to the shop to have some work done and there are two shops to choose from. The work is big and difficult, so prices are very steep. The first company, Dave's Auto Repair, charges a base cost of $30 and $10 per hour from then on. The second company, Bob's shop, charges $25 and $12 after that. At what point will the two labor costs be the same. A: You get the equations by saying y is total cost and x is hours.

Dave's: y=10x+30

Bob's: y=12x+25

You can then plug these into the calculator and follow the graphing method.
