| IImportant News Updates |
| We had our first meeting on Friday 3rd of October. It went well, having a grand total of 13 members(so far several couldn't make it so there are a few more than 13). Right now we are trying to work out some of the details of what is going to go on at our meetings and what we need so far. We will be having t-shirts this year when we get around to it, so keep ideas in mind. As for equipment, I ordered the electrical scoring equipment last Saturday. We will need to buy at least two complete sets of fencing uniforms, this is vital to those of you who have yet to buy their own gear. I'm thinking that on the 17th of October we should have a video game party in Mr. Cassady's room. Fencing will begin for those who already know how on the 17th. For those of you who can't fence lessons begin at Clear Lake Fencing Club on Thursday the 16th. Check out the links for the web site. |

| Congratulations to all those who competed in the CLFC Fall Tournament. Some of you may or may not know, Neil Hillborn won 1st place and got his DO3:) . Starting this Friday we will begin working on footwork! We were going to last week,but no one showed up(I believed it was because of the stupid pep rally).BRING LOOSE PANTS TO THE MEETINGS FOR NOW ON! |

| Everyone needs to become a USFA member if they wish to fence in the club, once everything is settled. Go to the USFA WEB SITE to print out the form. Next meeting we will start footwork, which we will do until we get everything settled with the school. See you there! |

| As of today we are an offical USFA club!!! Alright, we need a new sponsor because Mr. Cassady is moving after this year. Everyone needs to invest in some basic equipment and strat fencing at CLFC |
