Local competition entry closes on the Monday before the competition. Any entries received after this time are late entries.
Entries are to be forwarded to the FencingSA secretary (via fencing_sa@yahoo.com) or to the group mail list (fencing_sa@yahoogroups.com.au). Club or school secretaries must submit entries, any other entries will not be considered. The entry must clearly list the fencers name and the event they are entered in.
To enter into any intermediate, open or veteran event a fencer must be licensed with FencingSA or hold a recognized FIE license. To enter into a beginner competition a fencer must be registered with FencingSA. To enter a junior event the fencer must be registered. License and registration forms are available online. Unlicensed or unregistered fencers can be refused as late entries.
The secretary will announce via the group mailing list if a competition has enough entrants to proceed or not. This announcement will be made no later than two days before the event. At this time all the entrants from a club or school will be confirmed with the club or school contact.
Entries may be submitted after the cut-off date but they will be charged as late fees. The competition fee structure is:
