Well the trip there started off well. Just one word of advice : Don't change planes in Newark! Once there, NEVER forgotten!! Actually, it was interesting in the end. I got a bit friendly with the most adorable guy called Luke. He was a perfect gent... even if he was only 5 years old!!! Him and his Dad ended up sitting behind me on the plane we eventually borded to Pennsylvania the next morning (-they were going to a wedding). When we got off the plane, we looked like a happy family, so I missed Bob and Brenda initially!!!!
When we did meet up, we hit it off from the start! They are SUCH nice people!! Stacey and Darcy, their daughters, are great too. Not forgetting Taffy-girl (the dog) and the cats :)
During my time with Bob and Brenda, Steve and his wife Suzie stayed over a couple of days in order to travel to Niagara Falls with us. Despite living in Indianapolis, they'd never been before! We went anyway, along with Bubba <G>, which was really great! :)
After the falls, we went for a bit of a party round Frank's. He couldn't get enough of us!! We started off on some Cherry Moonshine (chasing it with peaches!)... which I had hardly a sip of contrary to popular belief. (I left the serious drinking to Brenda and Steve!!!!!). Then we picked some apples and pears to take back with us (- WHO let Stacey drive?!?!?). We were going to leave after that, but as I said, Frank couldn't get enough of us, bless him :) We ordered pizza, talked some more, and then finally left! Didn't want to leave, in case you were wondering. I'm waiting for an invite to get ANOTHER Canadian stamp on my passport in fact!!!!!! :))
Whilst in Pennsylvania, we went to 'see the fish' at Linesville Spillway. Boy are they UGLY!!! And they wonder why the ducks walk all over them!!! :)) It was an experience, anyway.
I only spent a few days in Pennsylvania. The initial plan was to have a party for Bob's 40th, but that ended up sort of happening in Niagara instead. I'm waiting for Brenda or Frank or someone to have a 'significant' birthday so I can visit them all again (and for longer!)!! I need some pics for one thing, cause my camera refused to take any while I was there!! :(
