I'm Lawrence (Larry) Joel Fenwick, born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on April 18, 1936. I'm married, with one grown daughter by my late first wife. I'm a former industrial and trade magazine editor, and credit bureau reporter. I was Vice-President and Assistant General Manager of a family-owned clothing manufacturing business from the mid-1950's to 1962. I assisted the Royal Canadian Mounted Police on two successful criminal investigations. I also worked for a few months as a proofreader for Government and Military Business magazine. The magazine had the former Minister of National Defence, Paul Hellyer, as a columnist. Canada's foremost expert on terrorism, a military officer, was also an employee. I retired from the work force in 1999. My wife Betty and I live in Mississauga, Ontario, a mile east of Pearson International Airport. My daughter Janice is a post-production accountant with a motion picture production company in Vancouver, British Columbia. I am related to Morley Safer of the U.S. news magazine TV show '60 Minutes'. I majored in psychology at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario in 1959.
