Nedolas had sold everything he had except for his sword, his shield, and his Elven armor. With the money, he bought clothes and food for the long journey that was waiting for him. He set out on the road in a sunny morning at the start of the summer. He kept one thing to remember his past: his dad’s horse. It was a huge black horse from the fields of Rohan, and had been given to him by the king of Rohan, as he had saved him from death at the Battle of the Five Armies. The horse was called Khor. Both partners, horse and elf, were able to go calmly through the fields of the Black Forest’s Elves, as that zone was guarded by the guards of the king of the hundred caverns. Next day, at midday they left the country of the black forest’s elves and went in to the dreadful Black Forest, where terrifying creatures lived. Just before daybreak he found an Orc standing in the middle of the road. He realized that the Orc was scared to death, so he took his sword out and kicked Khor’s stomach. The horse ran with a mighty strength into the Orc, and Nedolas swung his sword and chopped the orc’s head off. Nedolas climbed down the horse, and cleaned his sword with a couple of leaves. Then he approached to the Orc, who was probably from the White Mountains, as he was really tall and strong. His back was huge. He was really wide and had big legs and big hands with strong fingers. This was probably because the Orcs from the White Mountains used to cut down the rocks with their own hands to make caves. Just when he was going to look at the Orc’s face, a guy jumped out of a bush and stood up in front of him. At first Nedolas got scared, but after a minute he realized that the guy in front of him was actually a wizard. He stood there for a moment, as he was impressed by the presence of such a great person.
The wizard, unlike the other wizards of the middle earth, didn’t have a beard, and his back was not curved, like the great wizards sent by the Valars. He was wearing a gray rope and a gray hat, which was the only thing that told Nedolas that he was a wizard. “Suilad!” said the wizard with a clean voice. “My name is Findall. What’s yours?” “Nedolas” answered the elf. “Well, thank you for killing that orc. If it won’t for you he would had ran away and got some friend to come and burn my village, which by the way, I just left” answered the wizard. “What a coincidence!”-exclaimed Nedolas. “I just left my hometown and I was trotting towards Rivendell.” “Seriously? I was thinking in going there. I have to go there for the ancient wizards meeting which will be held in two months.” answered the guy “I wanted to get to Rivendell with some time to rest a bit, in the last house before the white mountains. “Then we could walk together. The black forest is a bad pace to be in alone” suggested Nedolas “my name is Nedolas. “My name is Findall the gray, nice to meet you. ”said Findall. And this is how Findall the grey and Nedolas greenleave met.
