"Recorded at an open mic night, Sunset of Your Love was a completely improvised set, guitar and lyrics both entirely made up on the spot, which makes for an intimate look at a madman's psyche. His obsession with the elusive "Matty" becomes apparent, if not blatantly obvious, and recurring themes of the sea and people leaving him suggest he's still having trouble coming to terms with his parents' death and is haunted by an unrequited love. Combined with tales of homoerotic adventures, this surely makes for an interesting listen, if not for its technical flaws."

"Since his debut release, Sunset of Your Love (2005), Ferrét Le Bat has done some soul searching and obviously not liked what he found, turning to drugs and a sleazy German immigrant, Roger Katz, for musical guidance and god-knows what else. The result is I'm on crack, a full length album which is mostly electronically inspired, and while it also incorporates elements of metal, rock, and Ferrét's signature ad lib acoustica, it is 100% experimental. While Ferrét's voice still sounds like Kate Bush and The Cookie Monster's love child struggling to come to terms with its heritage, Roger Katz brings an element of professionalism to the duo with his excellent production skills, considering this was all done in his home studio largely under the influence of narcotics. While almost entirely improvised, this album boasts very catchy and cool songs with strong beats and even stronger melodies, and all with a very psychedelic and drug-induced twist. A stroke of genius and worthy of a listen, even if only for a laugh."

There are plenty of Ferrét Le Bat plans for the future.

For example, a live DVD, I'll sing you the ocean, has been proposed. Also tentatively announced for the future are the albums Climbing back in the closet and Rainbow in a Jar. Whatever the next album may be called, Ferrét and Roger are hoping to take a more rock/band-oriented approach, and are also looking to take I'm on crack on stage for a live tour.
