| We require an interview for all prospective adopters. This is intended to ascertain the prospective adopter's knowledge of ferret care, his or her commitment level, and understanding the ferret's needs. There is a full adoption form along with a contract to ensure the ferret's care after leaving the shelter and being placed in their new home. We retain the right to refuse to adopt to anyone. The goal is to find the right owner for the ferret, not just any owner. | ||||||||
