This is so hard to write. Your Daddy and I are so worried about losing another one in your family, and this memorial to you is very late. You were the fourth one we lost this last year, and we spend a lot of time remembering each of you.

We miss so much the little things about you. These include your love of hiding your treat boxes (full or empty), hiding any empty plastic bottles (milk, water, or pop). I used to think you were planning on getting a treat dispenser machine. Maybe you wanted to make sure we had enough money to keep buying your treats. It was so much fun watching you with your head held high, just prancing away with the boxes. And we laughed at how hard you worked to drag away the gallon size milk bottles. Oh yes, we enjoyed cleaning out your hidey holes, as we put all your goodies in a grocery sack just so we could watch you hide them again.

And I am so sorry about not sending a plastic bag with you when you left us. I wasn’t thinking real clear, and didn’t remember how much you loved to be pulled around in one of the bags. Hopefully, you can find one where you are at now. If nothing else, hide it until I join you. Then we can play again.

When you joined our family, you always stayed to yourself. I thought you were just an unhappy ferret. But that changed after you got out of the house. You were lost for over two days. We searched the whole neighborhood for you. We left your toys, food, and water out for you. When Daddy got home from work, he saw things had been moved. So he started checking the garage for the umpteenth time. He followed your tracks in the sawdust he’d spread out. Before then, the sawdust was unmarked.

You were so happy to be home again, and oh so very tired. It must have been a rough time for you. It was the only time that you were content to watch us from your hammock while everyone else played. Or maybe you were lapping up all the hugs and kisses that you must have thought you’d never get again.

We have no idea how you found your way home, but many tears of you were shed by both of us. And I do think you became Daddy’s girl after he rescued you.

I wish that what I know now, I could have known when you first showed signs of your autoimmune disease problems. I bet we could have had more time together, but if others have learned from this, then we have helped them. Please enjoy yourself until we join you. You will always be loved and a part of you is in our hearts now and forever. You also took part of our hearts with you.

Goodbye for now, Suzy!

Hi all

Another little girl named Suzy came in. She waz met by Banjo, Simon, and Hamilton. They were real happy to see her. They also wanted to know all da news and gossip at home. They talked and talked. Then they headed off to get some gravy at da Gravy Gourmet. They ate a lot of dat to fortify for da tasks ahead. They wandered around for a while exploring and to see all da sights and attractions. They then headed off to dirt Mountain to work on da den to get her a place to stash all her stuff. I don't know about boxes as we don't get many of those around here. Have to check into a supply. Somebody up here must have them. Suzy said she felt a lot better. She said to send her luv and lots of hugs and kisses to her mommy.

I am back to work if you can call it dat. Gotto go.

Bye BYe
