Me:Hey, it's me, FT! I've just decided to make my own walkthru for one
of-No,
THE most anticipated game ever...The Legend of Zelda:The Wind Waker. I
know
that there are some gamers out there that can't beat a Zelda boss to
save
their lives, so that and the intense urge to make a walkthru drove me
to
write this. So I hope this helps!

SWORD, GRAPPLING HOOK<-<-@
@->STRATEGY<-@
Ok,
this guy looks big and opposing, right? Well, he's really just a big
ball of fluff compared to you! Whenever Ghoma slams down his claws,
roll
away, and if you get trapped, and don't wanna get hurt, then roll under
the
curve of the claw. The pots give you health, BTW. When you see a pause
in
the action, go into the hook's first person mode, and target Valoo's
tail,
whitch is hanging down over Ghoma. Let fly, and start swinging. When
poor
old Valoo makes the same whining sound, about on the 3rd or 4th swing,
let
go. Make sure that you don't land in the lava. You'll see a cut-scene
where
Valoo's tail goes into cavortics, and loosens up the rock from around
it
that drops...RIGHT ON GHOMA! HA-HA-HA!! Ghoma's armor, whitch is
preventing
ya from direct attacks, will chip a little, and the big evil buggy will
sink
into the lava pool. A second later, he'll come back up, with a big
hardening
lava-piece on top of his head, and slams it on the poor old dragon's
tail,
while it's still half-molten!! And now, as they say, Lather, Rinse,
Repeat.
It will be a lot easier if you land on one of the platforms, there you
can
quickly go into the hook mode to repeat the process. After a cut scene
where
Ghoma thrashes around, his armor will fly off and he's all yours to
maim
and brutilize. Now, if you have played the "Inside The Great Deku Tree"
level
in Ocarina of Time for N64 or its remake on NGC, you ought to know what
his
weak point is. When Ghoma lowers his eye to you, lock on(if you haven't
already),
and SLICE THAT SUCKER'S @$$!!! A sneakier and quicker way is to lock on
to
his eye and use the hook. You'll bring him down for free shots! And
finally,
you'll defeat him. Nab your heart container, and head on out!

BATTLE RESULTS:LINK WINS AND GAINED A HEART CONTAINER
AND DIN'S PEARL<-<-<-@
INFO:
Ghoma first appered to my knowledge as the boss of Link's first ever
dungeon, the first Link in the Zelda timeline. It was of course a big
bug,
and Link had to use his slingshot then his sword on its eye. My record
is 1 cycle before he went down; if it was SSBM, I'd've gotten Half
Minute Man!!

AHHHHHHH!!!!
HUGE FREAK FLOWER!!! SWALLOWED MAKAR!! HUGE SCAREY VINES! But
don't panic. This is an annoying boss fight, so it'll take patince.
First
off, when he tries to smack you with vines. His first form of attacking
consists
of charging up his vines. Stay out of the direction of the vines, and
his
second and most annoying attack is when he digs them into the ground.
RUN!
He'll try to swat you with vines that dig up from the ground. This is
his
most common form of attack, so be aware. Aim for as many vines
CONNECTED
TO THE TOP of the flower using the 'rang as possible, then release. Do
it
quick; He'll launch his 2nd attack whenever possible. When they are all
off,
he'll open up to his weak spot. Smack it with your sword as much as
possible,
but when the big petals start to move, GET OUTTA THERE!! He'll launch
his
third form of attack; swallow, hurt, puke. It hurts. Any case, L.R.R.!
He'll
go down. Grab yer heart, and blow that freak flower garden!

This is his first apperence, I think...That's it. However, a
flower-like boss has appeared in the original GBA Four Swords as the
boss of the Sea of Trees. Not the same strategy, though.

I
call it Bongo Bongo rebirthed because it looked like Bongo Bongo from
OoT.
Not too different fight, too. He has a variety of attacks, and one
where
he glows. On that one, roll til' Link has a headache, as I saw in a
preveiw
for it. He'll launch many fast shots at you. When he opens his eyes(all
of em!), hit
em with arrows. When he opens his mouth, feed him a bomb. L.R.R.. If
you
get low on arrows, pick up the "booger" that falls from his shnozz.
Victory'll
be yers in no time! Grab your heart. You'll be at the top o' the
tower. Link:I'M king a da WOORRRLD!!! Me:Climb up to the bell, and
latch
on with your hook. Start swingin', and you're done!
@->->->BOSS
BATTLE RESULTS:LINK WINS AND GAINED A HEART CONTAINER<-<-<-@
INFO:
The original Bongo Bongo was the boss of the Shadow Temple. Link fell
down into darkness, but landed on a giant drum. 2 huge disembodied
hands
went BON! go. bon. go. BON! go,bon,go. BON!gobongoBON!gobongo and it
turned
out to be one of the only bosses I've seen who can keep a beat
^_^(Link:*animé
fall*). Link had to watch out for his hands, and shot them with his
fairy
bow. When both were shot, Bongo Bongo opened his eye to only get shot!
THAT HAS TO HURT!!!
Link then did what anyone else would do; WHAIL LIKE THERE'S NO
TOMORROW!!
Bongo Bongo's my personal fave. Link BTW, also had to contend to the
bouncing
up and down. My record is like something like...I dunno XP!! He's my
favorite boss in OoT.

Ok.
Time to teach that bird not to take Aryll, and not to make Link make
the funniest scream in Zelda history!! ...Or was that Aryll? I think it
was Aryll, but man, that still sounds really funny!! First off,
this guy likes to flap
his wings at you so you fly into the spikes, as well as fly around and
hurt
you. Not to mention, trying to make you shiskabob by slamming his beak
into
the ground! Just run away from every attack, and when he does the last
attack
I listed, give that boid a nosebleed with that huge hamma of yers.
After
a few shots, his mask breaks, and the ugly face gets reveiled! Same ol,
same
ol...but with a sword! Link:Talk about animal creulty... Me:When you've
killed
him, watch the cutscene! Every single light comes on, over to see what
the
racket is, and when all spotlight is on Helmaroc King, he goes in a
dramatic
pose and makes a huge explosion! Nab that heart container, and head on
up
to face Ganondorf! ...Or do you? Ganondorf stupidly tells you that 'the
shine
of evil-clensing has left it' or something. Then, Komali and
Quill save your
skin(s).
Oh, and remember Valoo? He'll do a great impression of a really
POed
Salamence(Valoo:BURN! BABY, BURN!).

SOME ADVICE FROM GANONDORF?!<-<-<-@
INFO:
Does the prefix "helma" sound familer? It should, if you've played
"A Link to the Past"! Link had to beat the Helmasuar King using a
slightly
different tecnique from the Helmaroc King his ancestors defeated. The
Helmasuar
King might be Helmaroc King reserected, pissed off at Link and wanting
to
take care of his ancectors. But anyway, Link used the magic hammer on
the
mask. When it broke, the dino was easy pickings. Wow! Talk about a
blast

WOOO-gah!
This guy's HUGE!! When he sucks in air, he'll either just A) Blow you
away, or B) Use that lantern to blow fire at you. Toasty, no? Dangers
of A include getting hurt by the walls, and of B include, well, what do
you think? FIRE HURTS!! Anyway, he may also body slam you, and if you
get nailed, you'll be jinxed. Step in the pillars of light to heal
yourself of this ailment. Ah, the light pillars. Well, here's how you
hurt him. First, step in a pillar, then aim your shield at Jallhalla
untill, like a normal poe, he becomes solid. Unlike normal poes, he
merely falls flat on his ass for you to pick him up. Avoid picking up
skulls, and hurry on over to grab him. Hold him and aim yourself as
best you can at one of the many spiked pillars in the room. Launch him
towards it, and if successful, he'll burst into the many poes that he
comprises of. Now, kill as MANY poes as you possibly can. If you picked
up the Hurricane Sword Spin, use it. After a few are killed, a cutscene
will show the fatass becoming himself again. You'll start at the
entrance. L. R. R. Oh, by the way, the lights periodically dissapear
during the fight. If this happens to you when you're aiming at him,
don't worry, just haul Link over to another one. This boss battle can
be tricky if you're not careful. Avoid the lantern!!

@->STRATEGY<-@
To
those who played OoT and Majora's Mask, this guy's gonna be an awesome
boss fight, because this guy's a combination of Volvigia (OoT Fire
Temple
boss) and Lanmolas(MM level 4 boss)! What you do is equip the Giant's
Mask
and the Megaton Hammer. No, I was just joking around! What you REALLY
do
is go near Molgera's mouth, but not so close you get swallowed up! Snag
the
guy's toung with the hookshot, then combo it with your sword. He'll
constantly draw you
in
due to quicksand, so hurry! When he's hit enough, he'll spit out 2
lanmolas
to occupy you while he goes up into the air for a bit. Use the hookshot
when
the lil' worms come close, the hack their heads twice each. I advise
it,
as they'll annoy you when you try to get the toung again. L.R.R.. He'll
do
the same attack pattern, so it's really easy! Grab your heart piece
when
he's dead, and restore full power to your sword! Oh, and watch out as
he lands. The really hard part isn't really the strategy, but getting
close enough to fire the hookshot without getting snapped up.
@->->->BOSS
BATTLE RESULTS:LINK WINS AND GAINED A HEART CONTAINER
AS RESTORED THE MASTER SWORD TO 100%<-<-<-@
INFO:
Volvigia was the boss of the Fire Temple, and the coolest one yet!
He was very annoying, and was only defeated by the megaton hammer. The
Lanmolas
were bosses in probally the only Zelda quest thus far that does not
take
place 100 years after the last, and were humongus. Link used his
Giant's
Mask to grow to their size, and slashed them to bits! There was one
other
game I can think of that had a Lanmola(s) boss, and that's A Link to
the
Past. Link was searching for the pendents of Power, Wisdom and Courage
in
order to get the master sword. I think there were 2 or 3 lanmolas that
fought
Link. He fought bravely and emerged victorius. Lanmolas have a history
of
being regular enemies and mini-bosses in past games, surrounded by
quicksand.

know
what to expect of this form of Ganon. He slithers erratically around
the room fairly fast, in an arcing fashion. He arcs back out when he
hits a wall. Avoid contact(Link: Easier said than done 0.<) and try to hit
the
tail-orb with light arrows. If you run low on arrows of magic, slash
the
Keese. This is, by far, the trickiest form of Ganon, due to his high
speed and erratic behaivor.
@->->->BOSS
BATTLE RESULTS:LINK WINS<-<-<-@
INFO:
The first two I haven't the slightest clue, but the last form, the
Moldorm(or is it Moldrom?), is an enemy that is extremly popular for
its
apperence as regular enemies, the Mini-Moldorm(Moldrom?), and as a boss
in
two Zelda games that I know of: Link to the Past, and Link's
Awakining(DX).
In Link's Awakining, Link fought off his dungeon 1 boss barley. It was
called the Tail Cave, by the way. Guess why? In
LttP,
he was on the quest for the 3 pendants still, I think...or was it the
maidens?
I forgot, but anyway, it was a difficult battle, due to its erratic
movement,
AND the annoying fact that if he got bumped down the huge chasm, he'd
fall
down to the below floor and have to start from the beginning! I went
insane
trying to kill it!!
Anyway,
back to the walkthru. A cut scene plays, and Ganondorf is still alive
for all you've done. Link:WTF?! Me:Yeah, Link. I feel your pain...NOT!!
I
LUV BOSS BATTLES!!! *shows pin that says "I love boss fights"*
Link:...Shut up *points sword at me*.
Me: ^_^;; My, what a pointy sword...Now, anyway,
go on and climb the rope by steping on the ledge and auto-jumping on.
Hold
R and prepare for a long climb up. When you eventually get to the
top(Link: Arms...killing me...urk...>_O;;),
continue
upwards using your grappling hook. When you find a big wooden gondola
at the top,
use
your hookshot either on the circle or the gondola itself (kewl!). Enter
the doorway,
and prepare for probably the first final boss fight that's a classic
swordfight. By the way, I do believe that there's a warp cauldren
somewhere up there in case you need to get some stuff outside and don't
want to go through all the hell of fighting him again. I never use it,
though. Anyway, save and go through.

after
standing through a final boss fight watching Link nearly get his poor

Ganondorf,
remember? Zelda(says it like my sister):Oh, yeaaaaah! Link and Me:*Ugh...*
Me:Well,
anyway, this is a swordfight, no extra items involved! Ganondorf is a
formidable

so move as close as possible twords him. Also, I think you have to be
within range of Zelda's shot, so I don't think she can be at any angle
behind you when she fires. When you hear the "light

noise, try to stay in place. It should (if you're at the right angle,

INFO:
(Me:)This is the first game at the time of release where Zelda fights
apart from Super Smash

time
it involves Zelda somewhat. He's usually been Ganon, a big, ugly,
hulking
thing. Always after control over Hyrule. Born to be king of gerudos,
the
all ♀ theives, he became so evil that the gerudos thought he was too
creul
