Here's one sent in by Bruce Brooker of himself and good buddy Paul Madden taken a few years ago.

Here are best friends Donna Farrell(Walker) and Mary Colbert(Wilkins)taken a few years ago.

Spring 2001, Bob and I went to Crystal Beach to see my old friend Bruce Brooker play at the Palmwood Hotel. Many of you will remember that place. It hasn't changed a whole lot in 30 years.

While there we also had the opportunity to visit a while with Paul Madden, and Barbara & Maretta Leyland (sorry I don't know their married names)

We had a great time listening to Bruce play his drums and hearing the oldies we used to listen to way back when. I was completely caught up in the beat. Bruce hasn't changed a lot. He's still one of the tallest guys I know and one of the nicest.

My old boyfriend, Pete Clemens and his son came for the day in August 2001.
It was a beautiful day and we shared a lot of great memories.

I had forgotten how tall he was.

This picture of Mary Colbert(Wilkins) and I was taken November 10, 2001, when Mary and her daughter stopped at my home for lunch after shopping. We had a lovely visit and she hasn't changed a bit. She's still the warm, funny, person I remember.

Just before Christmas 2001 I had the pleasure of scheming with good friend Frank D'Amelio to surprise his Mother. He brought her up to Burlington for a few days to see the Santa Claus Parade and made some excuse that he had to stop and pick up a package, for his wife Carol, at some person's house. When I walked out to greet his Mom she was very surprised. We had a lovely visit, albeit far too short and I was able to show Mrs. D my home for the first time (we usually lived to far away). The D'Amelio family lived across the street from me during part of my youth and my teenage years. Mrs. D taught me to cook Italian in exchange for doing her hair, so they're like family to me.

Will Gow sent this picture in of himself and Frank Flynn having a cup of coffee at the Second Cup in Kelowna, BC. It was taken about the 15th of January, 2002. Looking good guys!

Sandra Snyder (Greig) stopped in the other day, (Friday, February 22, 2002) for coffee and a two hour chat. It was fun talking about the good old days. As it turns out she lives just a few blocks from me.

On September 28, 2002, I went to Fort Erie to meet with Kim Brown and girlfriend Elissa, at his Dad's house. They hopped on a plane from Florida, where they make their home these days, to attend a Buffalo Bill's game. Now that's what I call a dedicated fan!

@@@@@@@@@@@@

On October 18, 2002, I had a visit from Christine Piuni (Ruch), who does volunteer work here in Burlington, several times a week. We had fun talking about old times (our Dad's were in Fort Erie Fire Company #1 together) and our remaining parents are still friends.

Fall 2002, I stopped to visit my old and dear friends, Tony Sansano and his wife Dianne. It was great seeing them again.

Here's a picture sent to me by Anne Marie McNeil, nee Hammond, (who has been a secretary/receptionist at FESS for more than 25 years) of her and Jan Mars, the school Youth Counsellor. Anne Marie always had a beautiful smile. Some things never change.

Here's a picture, taken by the waiter, of Will Gow, Barbara Ferdinandi & Frank Flynn, as they were waiting for Barbara's husband to join them for dinner. I hope they gave him an extra big tip.

Here's a picture taken in July 2003 of Candy Paliska, Dorothy Burns (Stouffer), & Colleen Ward (James) in the hallway of Douglas Memorial Hospital. I popped in for a surprise visit. I recognized Colleen's big smile immediately and she took me down the hall to see Candy. My 12 year old son took the picture.

On a recent trip to B.C. (September 2003), we got the Fort Erie crowd together for a mini reunion. We had a nice dinner together and shared a lot of nice memories, a few drinks, a few laughs and some warm hugs. It was so good to see them again. While there, we also looked up old friend Josie Fiorica the next night. Unfortunately I forgot my camera, but she looks fantastic!
