Most Memorable Student(s): Oh had so many wonderful students.
Each individual brought something unique and special into the day.
Gads to name a few! Lets see Mary Pat Sparling always had a smile and
bounce in her step, Gloria Durante was always cool, calm and a hard
worker, Nancy Horner was quiet and reserved but had a special sparkle
in her eye. Then there was Janet Smith, Linda Runka, Francine Hurd,
Dorthea Weiss, Brenda Sims, Kathy Schmidt, Cindy Owens,
Dorothy Stouffer... oh I could go on and on! You were all great!

Most Memorable Class/Group: Enjoyed all my classes. Loved grade 9 sewing
as students were so enthusiastic and eager to learn.
Grade 11 foreign foods was fun as I never knew what would happen next.
FESS was the first school I taught at and therefore I have very fond
memories of the new challenges which face any new teacher.

Favourite Subjects I Taught: Home Economics

Favourite Hangouts: S.U.N.N.Y. in Buffalo, Old Fort, Golf Course

Favourite Yearly Events: Musicals especially Camelot

Favourite Music: I Can See Clearly Now by Johnny Nash,
I Am Woman by Helen Reddy

Claims To Fame Back Then: Made it through the first year with only being
called to the Principal's office once. I was the one who caught the
Principal's daughters smoking in the girls washroom and they were
suspended. (Sorry girls!)

Best Friends: Joyce MacDonald the librarian at FESS.
Joyce made my short time at Fort Erie extra special. She still
holds a special place in my heart.
