News

2:56 A.M., August 31st, 2002: The third attempt at reviving the site begins. The intro paragraph is changed to be something more heart-felt and fitting, and two site statistics systems go up. Yay!

2:59 A.M., August 31st, 2002: A link to the news section is added to the index. The section's Page Title is updated to "FF3man's Final Fantasy III/VI Castle - News" from "News", as is the Title Line.

2:25 A.M., September 3rd, 2002: The character pictures/information section is created, as well as a link of it on the index! I'll add descriptions for them later... in fact, I actually had almost all of 'em typed out, but I pressed ESC and accidently erased them. Doh! At least I got started on it, though... copy/pasting HTML makes the whole process simple and easy! Later on, I'll find pics of Strago and Umaro, as well as one of Edgar that's the same size as the others.

2:52 P.M., September 3rd, 2002: Added descriptions to the character pictures/information section! Still looking for the Edgar/Strago/Umaro pics, though.

8:56 P.M., September 3rd, 2002: I resized Edgar's pic on my own, and added it... it fits well-enough, doesn't it?

9:26 P.M., September 3rd, 2002: Added a 443KB MIDI set! There's a lot of GREAT tracks in there, so enjoy it!

11:54 P.M., September 3rd, 2002: Our site now contains FF3/6 character icons! It's a biig file, so if you plan on downloading it, make sure you have plenty of room!

12:14 A.M., September 4th, 2002: Wow... added the English and Japanese FF6 logos under the title line, a squaresoft logo at the bottom of the page, and logos to the left of each link (Locke on a chocobo, Edgar being... uhh... happy, Gau's reaction when hit, and Kefka after falling over)! The page is really, really starting to shape up! I'd also like to add that, last update, I put the character icons link between the information/pics and midis ones.

2:04 A.M., September 4th, 2002: Created a section on "Aria de Mezzo Caraterre", being Celes's Theme! It has a picture of the opera's orchestra in it, as well as the lyrics. ... Such a beautiful song...

3:02 A.M., September 4th, 2002: Added a notice on the index saying that "Message Boards, Fan Fiction, Updated Character Biographies, Equipment/Espers Lists, and more!" will be added to the page within the week!

11:16 P.M., September 4th, 2002: Joined my first ring (ever since the site revival... this page used to be in a lot of 'em), "The World of Final Fantasy"! It contains some really great FF pages, so don't hesitate to check it out!

11:57 P.M., September 4th, 2002: Fixed "The World of Final Fantasy"'s image/link on the index. Whoops!

12:23 P.M., September 4th, 2002: Argh... apparently, I didn't fix the webring situation, so I tried to work with the index's code, and I messed a looot of stuff up... so I had to get rid of the counter, the tracker, and the webring code I tried to put in. I'm trying to restore the counter (it appears that the service is down right now), and then I'll contact the webring owner. Doh.

12:44 P.M., September 4th, 2002: Well, the counter still isn't up, but I added a link/image to the "Final Fantasy Webring"... I can add the link/image to the other webring when this one gets approved. ... I think, anyway.

1:58 P.M., September 4th, 2002: Fwee... now the picture says the "Final Fantasy Portal" webring, which is another one I signed up for. ... I really don't get this stuff. I did get a new counter, though... it's not as complex as the one that was here before, but it looks nicer and the service (Geocities, not that random free counter place) is much, much better.

3:01 P.M., September 4th, 2002: Added a Webrings section... "Final Fantasy Portal" has officially accepted us, so now their information has been moved to there! Check out the link at the end of the list on the index!

3:09 P.M., September 4th, 2002: Finally figured out how the world of webrings works, and I've added a link to the "Final Fantasy" webring on the index! Also, I'm considering archiving this section, so that it'll look more orderly and be easier to access.

7:31 P.M., September 5th, 2002: Wow, this stuff is craaazy... the index's "Final Fantasy" webring link somehow became "Final Fantasy Portal"'s. Now I tried adding the "World of Final Fantasy" webring... hope it works!

10:50 A.M., September 7th, 2002: Yesterday, I got into an accident involving tons of mud and concrete (... I really shouldn't have ran down that hill), and though none of my body parts are broken, I want to take it easy for a few days, as I scraped my elbows pretty well... meaning I might not be able to accomplish all those things i wanted to in the "Coming This Week" notice on the index... I'll try to get most of it done, though!

4:19 P.M., September 10th, 2002: Well, now my keyboard's failing on me... uh oh. In any event, I'm recovering nicely, and I'll be back to work on the site in 2-3 days, most likely. Yay!

9:26 P.M., September 11th, 2002: I don't know what to say about today's date, other than that the tragedies of a year ago are still fresh in my mind, and I'll never forget them... as will almost all of us. ... On a brighter note, though, my elbows and knees are recovering nicely, and I'm ready to start updating again! I also got a new keyboard, and I've made the webrings section so that all the rings this site's in are listed in a stack... consider the "Coming This Week" notice on the index to mean "Coming THIS Week", as in Sept. 11-18!

7:12 P.M., September 12th, 2002: Well, nothing new's been added to the site yet today, but I've started working on the Esper List, and it's more than half-done... expect it up tonight or tomorrow!

5:04 P.M., September 14th, 2002: Though the Esper List is taking longer to make than I planned (it'll have an explanation of the system, all the espers, their level-up bonuses, their locations, all the spells they teach, and how much ability points from each battle are multiplied), it's starting to look reaaallly nice... plus tne following webrings have accepted our site: Final Fantasy Fanatics, Final Fantasy Portal, Final Fantasy Retrospection, Final Fantasy Webring, and The World of Final Fantasy Ring! Waiting for The Final Fantasy Ring...

5:43 P.M., September 20th, 2002: I really have to apologize for the recent lack of updates, but I got a reaally nasty cold, while still recovering from my hill injury. It's just one physical challenge after another, eh? Well, I'm almost back at full health now, so I hope to get things going again within the next couple days!

11:19 A.M., September 22nd, 2002: The Esper List is uuuup, as I just finished it! It's very detailed, with Esper Attacks, Bonuses, Locations, and Spells, so I hope a lot of people enjoy it! I've also removed the "Esper List" part from the coming soon notice on the index, as it's already here. The link's under "Character Pictures/Information!" and above "Final Fantasy III/VI Character Icons!(285 KB)".

1:34 P.M., October 27th, 2002: Wow... over a month since an update. I'm starting to wonder what this site really needs, as there're already a lot of good FFIII/VI pages on the 'net... I'm considering adding information/pictures/other fun stuff on the Playstation Final Fantasies, as well. In other news, I'm still trying to figure out how to work this webring stuff... I'm being told code's not on the page, but it can be found in the webrings section. Oy.

9:54 A.M., February 16th, 2003: We're baaacckkk!!! ... Since there're already a lot of great FFIII/VI sites out there, I kinda lost interest in keeping this place going... but after playing FFIX (again) and FFX (and also realizing that the fun of site creation is always there, no matter how much it's already been done), I'm back into the groove! I still need to find the Strago/Umaro pics... from there, I'll consider putting up some message boards... or maybe even a Java chat applet. Fun stuff, huh?

11:14 A.M., February 16th, 2003: Moved the webrings to the index, getting rid of its section... byebye, mog2 icon! I also put up a picture and description of Strago, and made the site introduction text less sappy and overdramatic... haha. From here, I'll continue looking for some passable message boards. *hums Final Fantasy victory tune*!

10:18 A.M., February 17th, 2003: I've added a good bit of detail to most of the character profiles (now with a picture and description of Umaro!), so "Updated Character Biographies" has been removed from the "Coming This Week:" line on the index... wow, it's been a... really, really long week. ... In fact, it's been several months! Hahaha.

3:45 P.M., February 17th, 2003: Added a guestbook! Feel free to view it and sign your own entry... I just put mine in! Haha... this is fun!

6:44 P.M., February 17th, 2003: Created frames and non-frames versions of the site, and a page that allows visitors to choose which they'd prefer! It's been a lot of work today... but it's worth it!

6:58 P.M., February 17th, 2003: Well, I've gotten the frames version to open new windows, when a link's clicked on... originally, it displayed the pages in the left window, which obviously is kinda small to look into (though it's adjustable). I hope that, eventually, it'll display the target pages in the right window.

12:48 P.M., February 18th, 2003: Added RPG Message Boards... the link is right under the news one (with an icon of Sabin lying on the ground)! Also made the intro a little more believable (haha)... expect another update later.

1:21 P.M., February 18th, 2003: Added "Final Fantasy III/VI: The College Years. Part 1!"... the first chapter of my new FF III/VI comedy series (the last site had around 20 or so in its series, I think... I wish there was a way I could recover those)! The link's right under the one to the message boards.

2:30 P.M., February 18th, 2003: Removed "Message Boards" from the "Coming This Week:" label a few minutes after the last update... recently added a poll above the webrings asking who the best Final Fantasy III/VI character is.

2:40 P.M., February 18th, 2003: Fixed the Cyan picture... was small, now large, fits in with all the others.

11:02 P.M., February 18th, 2003: Added an Item List, and put the link right above the Esper list one... woo hoo! Even more site progress.

6:34 P.M., February 19th, 2003: Added a Relics List... the link's right below the Items one, and above the Espers link.

8:40 P.M., February 22nd, 2003: Removed "Message Boards" from the non-framed version's "Coming This Week:" label... plus removed "Fan Fiction" from the label on both framed and unframed versions. Also added the second chapter of Final Fantasy III/VI: The College Years.. I think I forgot to post the news of the first one being added... ah well!

8:31 P.M., February 27th, 2003: Added a Quotes section (mostly Kefka so far), with a link just under the RPG Message Boards one!

9:39 P.M., March 3rd, 2003: Added a pictures section, currently only with the two game maps. The link is right under the character pics/info one. Yay!

9:11 P.M., March 13th, 2003: Just about every great line in the game has been added to the Quotes section, thanks to the efforts of one of our site's best friends, Hawkeye123! I removed the final battle quote, the Kefka one about... uhh... 'unison', and his bit about 'life, hope, and dreams' (at least I think that's the order!), and replaced them with his versions of them. At the same time, though, I wonder if the message boards are worth keeping. They've seen just about no progress since they've been put up, and I don't think anyone's truly interested. I'll come up with a decision on that later. In any event... enjoy the new quotes!

11:26 A.M., April 7th, 2003: Still no real site news... I'm kind of puzzled, though. ... What should be added to the site? I still want to add an equipment list, but other than that, I wonder if I'm already mostly done the rebuilding of the Castle. Any suggestions can be sent here. Thanks.

2:53 P.M., May 17th, 2003: Submitted this site to the Final Fantasy 3 Monster Webring. Hooray!

4:53 P.M., May 17th, 2003: Added a "Final Fantasy XII - The Series Reawakens!" section! All that's up right now is a poster and a small explanation... more is to come soon!

5:59 P.M., May 17th, 2003: Added some vague news to the FFXII section on the gameplay, staff members, and Japanese release!

11:03 A.M., May 18th, 2003: Haha... it said 2002 instead of 2003 in the last news update's time listing... corrected that. In any event, now there's a section on this site called "Final Fantasy XII - What the Fans Want!" where some FF fans have stated what they want to see out of the game! Feel free to submit your own ideas to me, and I'll be sure to post 'em in no time!

2:07 P.M., May 18th, 2003: Added 3 more comments to the FF12 fans section!

11:21 P.M., May 18th, 2003: Added yet another 3 comments to the FF12 fans section! It's growing quite well!

11:56 P.M., May 18th, 2003: Made it clear in the FF12 info section that Hideo's working with 2D graphics. Also, a few interesting rumors about the game have been added!

3:53 P.M., May 20th, 2003: Added 6 more comments to the FF12 fans section! Woo hoo!

5:18 P.M., May 21st, 2003: Put 5 more comments on the FF12 fans section. It's great to see such frequent and detailed fanviews!

11:24 P.M., May 21st, 2003: Created a section on our new Final Fantasy III/VI Castle Club! It's a Yahoo! Club and it's started today... let's just hope it helps bring the dedicated fanbase of a fantastic game together!

11:57 A.M., May 22nd, 2003: Moved the webrings list from the non-framed index to the intro page... plus I signed this site up for the "GAMEGODZ" webring.

1:13 P.M., May 22nd, 2003: Added 3 more comments to the FF12 fans section! They just keep on comin' in!

7:51 A.M., May 25th, 2003: Spaced the letters of the "FF3man's Final Fantasy III/VI Castle" headers on the intro page and non-frames index, as well as the title bar of the non-frames index. Right now, I'm considering eliminating the framed/unframed options and putting up side-buttons (or whatever they're called) that the user can click on to go to any section desired.

9:53 A.M., May 25th, 2003: Just did a lot of little things... to the frames version of the site, I've removed the frame borders, the webrings (I moved the HTML of it to the index to replace its old webring HTML... basically, now the webrings on the index are all displayed instead of just one), the paranthesized information by the faqs and other pictures links (so that more could fit without the user having to scroll down the frame), and the lines that separated the section listings (now they all appear without an empty space between them). A lot of this won't mean too much when the section links are replaced with buttons (possibly today).

1:40 P.M., May 25th, 2003: Did a bunch of stuff with the frames section! For example, the links were replaced with buttons and the guestbook links were moved from the frames to the index to the right. Also, the frames link to a section with all the guides (not separated individually anymore), and the same was done for the FF12 sections and the College Years (now in "Funny Stories"). "Character Pictures/Information" has been renamed on the frames links to "The Party", and "Other Pictures" is now just "Pictures".

4:54 P.M., May 25th, 2003: Aimoo decided that we were inactive or something like that, so I've decided to switch our boards URLs with a different (and much better) board that I created this February with ezboard. It can be found here.

7:28 P.M., May 25th, 2003: Added MIDIs to TWENTY games! In alphabetical order... Breath of Fire, Breath of Fire 2, Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, Lufia, Lufia II, Ogre Battle, Secret of Evermore, Secret of Mana, and Super Mario RPG! Not bad, eh?

11:03 A.M., May 26th, 2003: Added MIDIs to Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy Adventure, Final Fantasy Legend, Final Fantasy Legend 2, Final Fantasy Legend 3, Final Fantasy Tactics, Kingdom Hearts, and Xenogears!

6:32 P.M., May 26th, 2003: I decided to get rid of both the non-frames and frames sections, and make the site a single one, starting at the index! Also, the index design has been completely revamped so that it's three rows of light blue, dark blue, and light blue again! The buttons are on the left row, the text, logos (I moved the poster one to the "Other Pictures" section though), guestbook links, and webrings are now in the center (plus I added a copyright and removed the older copyright pic), and the right row is currently empty (any ideas on what to fill it up with?)! The background on the outside of the rows is black. Now we just need a logo that says our site name!

10:05 P.M., May 28th, 2003: The site has a new name... Terragaia! The menu has been changed so that there are no buttons, but when a user moves the cursor to a link, it reveals sub-menus (for the game links, that is). Also, a friend of mine who goes by Athena (thanks man) made a logo for us! Also, some Chrono Triggers box art and character icons, pictures, and info has been added! As much as I love FF6 (and how much the game has meant to me and the development of this site), the logos will soon be replaced (by what, however, is uncertain). Fan Fiction is a new section, containing the "funny stories" I've created. Also, I fixed the FF6 pictures section so that two links are separated on different lines rather than side by side. Expect more changes to be made in the near future!

6:38 P.M., May 29th, 2003: Added a Chrono Cross section, with a picture of the North American Box Cover, and images of Serge and Kid along with character descriptions! Yay!

1:59 A.M., May 31st, 2003: Added an FF10 link to the menu with a pictures section for the game (has the official game logo and the north american box art), as well as a status portraits section to the site's Chrono Trigger contents! Woo!

11:28 A.M., May 31st, 2003: Changed the index sub-menu so that the backgrounds are white and its borders are blue! Also added an FF8 link to the menu, with a status portraits section (it's just a start... expect more characters to be there in not too long)!

2:47 P.M., May 31st, 2003: Added front and back pictures of the FF8 U.S. and Japanese box art roughly an hour ago. There will be more updates later (as for what, I'm unsure, though)!

4:53 P.M., May 31st, 2003: Added an FF4 link with pictures (U.S. and Japanese box art so far) and characters sections. Also added an FF12 pictures section, with the promotional poster already on the site and an earlier one featuring the staff and some staff drawings.

10:35 P.M., May 31st, 2003: Added a section with all the FF8 SeeD test answers! There're 30 tests in total, 10 questions each... all "yes" and "no" answers.

11:13 P.M., May 31st, 2003: Added an FF2 link with a pictures section (The front and back of the Japanese box art, plus the logo), as well as a Lores list to the FFVI guides section!

8:45 A.M., June 1st, 2003: We've reached 1,000 hits! This site has come so far since the beginning... and in the last few days alone, it's been growing a tremendous amount! I'd like to see the message boards do a lot better, but I'm happy with the progress that's been made so far... thanks to all the visitors, as well as the GAMEGODZ webring master! Also, I created and added a FFVIII SeeD Ranks/Salaries section around 1 A.M. last night, and I just completed an FFVIII Blue Magic List that I started around then, too.

12:04 A.M., June 3rd, 2003: I registered a .tk for this site at around 2 A.M. yesterday... plus I just added a link for the original Final Fantasy, with a pictures section (currently containing the U.S. box art front and back, the Japanese box art front and back, and the cover of the U.S. manual)!

7:38 P.M., June 3rd, 2003: Moved the FF6 logo so that it appears right below the FF3 (U.S.) one. Also, that .tk domain i regged yesterday is "www.terragaia.tk"!

10:04 P.M., June 4th, 2003: Added a section with FF10's "Otherworld" lyrics! Bruck! Breck! Eedechoo! Dunah! Dunjah blerk! I hachoo!

11:59 P.M., June 5th, 2003: Added a section with FF8's "Eyes on Me" lyrics! ... Touching stuff, eh? It added a heck of a lot to a truly great game...

12:44 A.M., June 6th, 2003: Added FF10's "Suteki Da Ne" lyrics, as well was an FF9 link with "Melodies of Life" lyrics! Yay for covering more and more games!

10:19 P.M., June 6th, 2003: Created a FF9 Pictures section, with European Box Art (front and back) as well as U.S. (front only). Also, I've been told that the sub-menus are difficult for some to use... thus, I may choose to mess with the layout a little bit more tonight or tomorrow.

9:46 A.M., June 7th, 2003: This site now has a FFX-2 portion! Right now, there are four pictures (two yuna posters, a screenshot poster, and the game logo) and some information (basic info and the release dates) up! Apparently, I've already used up about 8 mb of this geocities space... haha.

1:08 A.M., July 28th, 2003: Just wanted to state that I'm still here... I've been busy with a lot of personal stuff lately, but I should be able to update this site regularly again now. Cya around!
