What is a Support Group Meeting?

We are a group of people who have vision problems and need to discuss issues that occur as a result of these problem. Since we all have the same type of problems, it’s great to share some of the anxiety. At these meetings, we bring the people we feel are involved with us; sometimes people come who do not have a problem but know someone who does. These meetings are a way of sharing information, getting support, and just enjoying meeting people who have similar issues. You don’t have to talk, you can just listen, or just let it all hang out. Whatever is comfortable for you. We also laugh a lot, make new friends, and have a good time.
