Here is the statement issued by the Parlier Plethora in regards to its first Fantasy Bowl Championship:

Am i not going to get a write-up?  For the sake of unbiased, classy, professional journalism, i was going to defer the Championship Game results to an esteemed colleague.  However, reeling from a ghastly season, Fantasy Bowl IV is not much of a priority.  Well it is to ME!!  Gunner said on The Well Message Board a little over a week ago that the Swami predicted a Parlier Plethora victory, giving the Fine Community a championship banner to hang from its grapevines.  Gunner claimed the Swami told a friend of his who told him that Parlier would win 62-48.  Incredulously, Gunner, i mean Swami was almost dead-on!  For those of you who have missed the big news in all the holiday hubbub and excitement, the Parlier Plethora, yours truly, claimed the Cup with a 64-50 win over the Oaktown Dealers.  i don't feel the need to break down the victory, the scoring, the statistics with any more detail- the bottom line at this point is that a win is a win is a win.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the League.  You guys make it a success year in and out, based on your involvement, your enthusiasm, and your willingness to lose games to me to make me feel like i've accomplished something.

i'd like to thank my producers who believed in me from Day One.  Oh man, i know if i start naming names i'm sure i'll leave somebody out. all my fans,...I LOVE YOU!  my parents,..Hi Mom and Dad!  Parlier!-you all have been incredible and supportive even when the times got rough.  WOW-in only our 2nd year here, we brought home the big one!
