| Quarter Pole Downs - Misty's Highlight (Spotlight - Misty Days) proved the top of her game as she won the New Years Handicap. The win brought in 1,040,000 for Silver Hill Stables to add onto her earnings. Finishing second after a slip from the gate was Unbridled Heart. Muhtarram however, had a less flattering trip herself. She broke well and strong. At the top of the backstretch she was blocked, having to go three wide to get into contention. in the far turn, Miracle Boy veered out in her path. Muhtarram was forced to chec kand wait for an opening. When the opening came, it was to late for a win. Misty's Highlight hada troubled trip herself, comming from behind to take the New Years Handicap by a length and a half. All three gave an incredible effort and all three look to be some of their generations shining stars. |
