Laria: I would've had Quatre host this part, but there's a lot of stuff he shouldn't be seeing, like the yaoi thing, and his past is sad, so I don't want to inflict it upon him, again. He might go ZERO! O_O

History
Quatre was born A.C. 180 on the L4 Colony. His family was the extremely rich Winner family. Being the only boy out of 29 older sisters, Quatre was the heir to all that fabulous dough. Unfortunately, Quatre's mother died while giving birth to him, and his father told him he was a test-tube baby because all his sisters are (from different mothers too! O_o) and he didn't want any of his daughters treat him different because he was a live-birth. The reason all his sisters were test-tube babies is because, for some reason, none of the women on L4 Colony could have a live birth without giving up her life. When scientists found out why are were just on the brink of fixing the problem, Quatre's mother, Quaterine, wanted to have a child for her husband, which turned out to be Quatre.

After that, not much is known about Quatre until A.C. 193. When Quatre was 13, he ran away from home to travel to Earth, thinking he was worthless, being a test tube baby, or so he thought. But along the way, his shuttle was hijacked by the Maganacs. They were rebels trying to save some scientists from a satellite. Quatre could care less, telling his father that he should be surpried that one of his "tools" actually did something and stuff about how worthless he is. Rasid slaps him and explains that the Maganacs are all testube babies, so Quatre should show some pride in himself. A bit later, he found out that one of the Maganacs was plotting against the rest of the group. Quatre captured him, but not in time to stop him from telling the Alliance where they were. Alliance troops moved in and the battle was going to be rough because there were 3 times as many Alliance troops as there were Maganacs. Quatre brought the traitor to Rasid and the traitor shoots at Rasid, but Quatre jumps in front, the bullet entering his shoulder and Rasid's chest, not hitting any internal organs. Quatre asks to fight and borrows Rasid's goggles and a mobile suit. During the battle, Rasid tells the rest of the Maganacs to call Quatre "Master" but the troops say he doesn't need to tell them that because they already like the kid. Then they say stuff about how he's really good handling a mobile suit, injured and all. Quatre helps them and lets them escape to Earth. They want him to go with them to Earth, but Quatre thinks he has to prove himself worthy first, and went off to find a cause to fight for. And he found it: peace, by choosing to be Sandrock's pilot.

Sadly, Quatre's relationship with his father began to break apart because of this. The Winner family was extremely pacifistic, so Quatre's father didn't want him to fight, even if he was fighting for peace. Quatre didn't want to go against his father's wishes, but he did, because he believed in bringing peace to the world.

Later on in the series, Quatre's father and his favourite sister die right in front of his eyes. Having the ZERO system on his Gundam, he starts going nuts, destroys a colony and he almost kills Trowa.

Other Info
Quatre and Heero are the only two Gundam pilots that master the ZERO system. But unlike Heero, Quatre discards the ZERO system, being a good enough pilot to function without it. Also, he has what is called a "space heart" which allows him to link up his mind to the other pilots, feeling their pain and thoughts. One other bit of info, in the actual series, Quatre is not gay, that is only the opinion of other people.
