Sega and Square involved in a joint project?Sega's AM division and Square may be working on a joint project for the arcades. Read the first details. Tetsu Kayama, Sega's strategic counsel, recently spoke with Softbank's Dreamcast Magazine regarding the future of the company and the Dreamcast. In the comprehensive two-page interview, one particular comment from Kayama was eye-catching. "I'm only going to mention this to the [Dreamcast Magazine] readers that we are currently working on a big project for the arcades," Kayama revealed. "It's still in the early planning stages, but one of our AM divisions and Square are working on something you can only play on the arcades." Neither company has made any official announcements regarding the project. Kayama revealed that a major announcement regarding one of Sega's upcoming arcade projects will be made at the upcoming AOU show in Japan.
