  • S.7 (post-war model) single- or two-seater Development:
    The design for the low-wing monoplane Ambrosini S.7 was 
  • finished by Sergio Stefanutti in 1939. It was fast with fully 
  • retractable landing gear and wooden construction. 
  • The S.7 was intended to be flown in races, and it inspired 
  • several light fighters which were used in World War II. 
  • During the war, it virtually disappeared, but in 1949,
  • production was resumed with few revisions.
