Wonderfully Created In The Image of God.

Recently I was watching a Discovery Channel show discussing the Charles Darwin Theory of Evolution and I recalled they showed pictures of the various stages of the evolution of the ape into modern man as we are today. And the presenter made the comment that the whole evolution process took millions of years. That was interesting. It is interesting because I cannot find the answer in the Bible.

What I do find in the Bible is that God is the Creator and the Hebrew word for God the Creator is ELOHIM and the word is in its plural tense signifying that there is more than one Person in God. In fact God is made up of three Persons - God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit. Adding up the ages of all the various generations right up to Adam will give us the approximate number of years as slightly over 6000 years and this is well below the age that scientists had given as the age of mankind. Some archeologists had even said that man existed for millions of years and how they came to this conclusion, I do not know. What is important is that the Bible has recorded for us what God the Holy Spirit wants us to know and I believe it is the only correct record.

Ezekiel 38:1: Who Are Gog and Magog?

Who is Gog? And where is the land of Magog? Where is Meshech and Tubal? Do any of these places or person(s) have anything to do with the events that are to take place in the end times? If so, what are these events?

Gog is called the prince of Meshech and Tubal, provinces of Asia Minor. However, the geographical area that these would have embraced would be comparable to what we today would label as parts of Iran, all of Turkey and the southern provinces of the C.I.S. (formerly the U.S.S.R.).
